These are from the L.A.Times coverage of Men’s Fashion Week in Milan and Paris.

  1. gquaglia says:

What do you expect when all the designers are either women or gay.

  2. Jägermeister says:

    #1 – gquaglia

I was going to write exactly the same thing…

  3. OvenMaster says:

Seriously, I know of a local homeless woman who has dressed like the person on the right (minus the necktie) for at least the past ten years. The only thing missing is a blue backpack.

  4. Les says:

    Dork 1 or dork 2?

  5. Noel says:

Can someone please tell me what the point of an industry that makes impractical clothes that cost tens of thousands of dollars that no one wears?

  6. Sea Lawyer says:

#6, it allows people who otherwise wouldn’t be productive to feel important.

  7. it's just an expression says:

The point is to separate the boys from the peasants. Now, to those who have the NIMBY complex, the rest of us have taken quick text message that your flaming prejudices are showing. And to others who’s mind is not under a manhole I say all fashion is fabulous as it takes us away from the dreary stranglehold that neckties and “acceptable” clothes present in their suffocation of the fabric of art.

  8. Patrick says:

    #1 – Bingo.

  9. English Vibrato says:

Pic 1 – Gayed up Caligula.
Pic 2 – Gayed up Steve Irwin.
    Originality – Fail.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

  10. Antonio says:

The thing about fashion shows is that the outfits aren’t expected to be worn by regular people. It’s kind of like a concept car. Concept cars aren’t designed to actually be produced. Rather, they’re a platform for exploring new ideas and innovations. Then they are refined and distilled into production vehicles. Likewise for fashion show outfits. Nobody here is ever going to wear something seen at a fashion show, but the major ideas will probably make it into your closet eventually.

  11. Floyd says:

Most guys would never wear anything that a designer would put on a runway, let alone hang it in their closet. This clothing will probably kill this designer’s business, which is a good thing. Now where are my Levis and tee shirt?

  12. hhopper says:

  13. Angel H. Wong says:

    #1 & #2

Those clothes are not for people living in cubicles.

  14. Jägermeister says:

    #17 – Angel H. Wong

Okay, so who’s it for? Angus Young?

  15. #15 – hhopper

Oh, come on. Who can look at the guy on the left without thinking “all fashion is fabulous”??

And the guy on the right has enough metrosexual cred to be a David Beckham of African descent. The socks and the hat color combo add sort of a Christmas-y festivity to the outfit.

  16. Mr. Gawd Almighty says:

    Well, whatever turns your crank.

I’m happy pedro is impressed. This way they will sell at least one outfit.

  17. Daniel says:

While I don’t like the outfits.. Pic #1 is HAWT. 🙂

Wish I could find a bigger copy of it for my desktop.

  18. Dallas says:

LOL at the straight guy bonding comments.

Now this is what Dvorak Blog needs more of – blogs that provide some stimulating attire perspective presented in a way that allows for some hetero/machismo bonding. Perfect!!

I would not be surprised to see some of this attire in the hetero male community in 15 years. It took hetero males that long to pierce their ears and shave their legs. Gays are just a generation ahead!!
