I’m not sure if LinkedIn is worth one billion but I do think they’ve captured a vertical market and have a sustainable business. I’m always amazed how many Microsoft people want you to join their LinkedIn network.
I think you could actually build a reasonable consulting business using LinkedIn (and Excel of course) as your “core” IT systems.
Oh, and I really do like Firefox 3. It’s the first browser I’ve ever used that works equally well on Windows, Mac, and Linux (Unix), which is no small accomplishment.
