A homeless woman has died of suffocation after being buried by three men on a California beach — a fate her family described as her greatest fear.

Three men were being held on involuntary manslaughter charges in the death Wednesday of 53-year-old Patricia Ann Kalbskopf.

They allegedly poured sand over her while she was passed out drunk at some dunes along the state’s central coast.

Investigators say they don’t believe the men, who were also drinking, intended to kill Kalbskopf, but their actions resulted in her death.

We need some sort of auxiliary Darwin Award for people who are killed by the dummies they hang out with.

Thanks, K B

You are not eligible for a Darwin Award if you already contributed to the gene pool.

Had she managed to not have kids…..

  3. Balbas says:

Greatest fear? She’s been having psychic episodes seeing the future and now …

    Sand kills! Outlaw it.

…a fate her family described as her greatest fear.

This is the part of the story that really raised my eyebrow.

How about the Darwin by Association Award?

Here is another individual with their head in the sand:

    >>Had she managed to not have kids…..

Who said she had kids? A “niece” is the daughter of her sister or brother, not the woman herself. Perhaps you qualify for the award….?

  9. Mister Mustard says:

    >>Mustard, I met your parents. Couple
    >>of nice guys…

Faking a screen name again, are you?

About what I’d have expected, loser.

They were drunk, not dummies, they were drunk, oh, I said that already. She suffocated, she was drunk, people die of suffocation from too much alcohol, she was drunk, oh, I said that already. Dual whammy.

  11. HMeyers says:

Her biggest fear was being suffocated in sand.

Her second biggest fear: getting tickled to death by drunken monkeys.
