The point of the ULPC (ultra-light PC, or netbook) conversation kind of got lost.. were you debating the merits of OLPC or ULPC’s in general? The ULPC is a great idea, but it seems like corporate greed is destroying what started out as a grand idea. It’s too bad.
On another note: I heard the term “net neutrality” bandied about when talking about ISP’s throttling their heaviest users. Please don’t confuse bandwidth caps with net neutrality, as they’re completely different topics. ISP’s SHOULD have the right to manage their networks based on volume, but should not be allowed to censor content or offer “fast lane” access to some content providers.
