Is that what Puti poot used against that newspaper that ran the story of him having an affair with a younger model and going to divorce his wife?

MiGs eat UAVs for breakfast, that’s what you mean? 😉

Jokes aside, I don’t think it could do it without damaging the engine’s turbines.
But it could have flown fast nearby UAV and have it crash due to turbulence…

  5. Mark T. says:

The Air Force Times reported that the Mig-29 missed with the first missile. The UAV operator must have realized something very bad was going on and apparently started to pan the camera around just in time to catch the second missile shot from VERY close range.

You can see that the Mig was banking at about 85 degrees. This indicates a very high-g turn. He must have missed with the first shot and had to circle around for the second shot.

I find it interesting that it took two tries by a front line Russian fighter jet to take down a simple Israeli-made prop-driven UAV.

He might have had hangover from overconsumption of “Stolichnaya” 😉

    35. Just the usual idle speculation here… but if the Georgians were watching their radar displays, they would have seen the MiG approaching the UAV.
