“I’m going to tell you something: That boy’s finger does not need to be on the button,” Davis said. “He could not make a decision in that simulation that related to a nuclear threat to this country.”
An aide to Davis, Jeremy Hughes, declined to comment on the remark, and didn’t dispute the accuracy of the quote.
Update: The apology. ‘A poor choice of words’
#29–Now Pat==Baseless: “Without a basis in reason or fact.” Reasonably speaking, it is very difficult to make a statement of opinion and have it be baseless? Obama’s opinion was based on his evaluation of the facts and circumstances present.
I’ll repeat my Post #19–do you really think that comment from Obama is “baseless” or do you actually only disagree with it?
What information on a website would be dispositive of this for you? and why do you ask for evidence that wouldn’t change your mind?
Would you buy a Used Car from this JERK ???
#32 – YOU said it wasn’t baseless. What is the basis?

I’m pretty sure I’m not the first one to notice that Obama looks like Erkel.
OK, Let me Google… wait… wait… sure enough!

Bobbo, in response to #16
I might be assuming the guy is more clever than he really is. That is to say, if you or I were to drop a bomb like that, We’d have something substantial to back it up.
But then again, it wouldn’t be the first time a politician said something stupid…
#20, Thanks for the reference to Cakewalk. I looked it up. Who would of known?

#20 sea lawyer – not to seem like a “me too” person but thank you as well for the Cakewalk.
One of the reasons I read the blog is to stimulate my thinking.
#15, pat,
Also, there is no reason for anyone to distance themselves from a racist. It’d be like denouncing your uncle, or something…
Speak for your own family. I can honestly say my family isn’t racist and wouldn’t tolerate racist behavior. It is not the way we were brought up.

Nor mine.
I know that many people believe all whites are closet racists but I can honestly say that my family never talks bad about any other “race” in private. The same goes for other countries, cultures, religions, etc.
Seriously, we simply never do it.
#41 sounds like a boring family.
I’d like to know more about these simulations. Do all senate members take part? These test scores might be of value in picking a comander in chief
Oh Boy! I think he blew it.
#40 Mr. Catshit said, “I can honestly say my family isn’t racist and wouldn’t tolerate racist behavior.”
Then I’ll vote for you over Obama…
#44, pat,
Well thank you. The support is nice.
