Judge Rita Mella ordered Ajemian to pay a $95 court charge and signed a two-year order of protection directing him to stay away from O’Brien.
Uh, OK. Too much of a wingy-dingy to let inside NBC; but, he might be alright for Sunday services.

Bad Behavior has blocked 6775 access attempts in the last 7 days.
Yet another example of vicious homophobia.
I am not catholic nor very sympathetic towards the catholic church in spite of their humanitarian efforts.
Reading the news, it seems to that all catholic priests are either homosexual, pedophiles or both. And even if they are not – then they happily cover it up.
Now, just homosexual is no crime and is fine with me, but maybe the catholic church should let priests marry so ordinary heterosexual males would be interested? Or even permit female priests as well? It could maybe create a more balanced church?
As it is – children ought not be left alone with a catholic priest.
I’d rather my child play with gasoline than religion.
This is a freaking non-story. If they hadn’t know he was a priest, you wouldn’t have heard about it. A fan follows the object of their fandom a little too close (not a story). Is told by the state “You’re following to close.” (not a story). He say “Oops, didn’t mean, too. Got caught up in my fandom.” (not a story.)

Eideard should never have posted it. It’s ridiculous.
Yeah Jeffery Williams you tell ’em. If this had been just some lay person stalking another late night tv host…say…David Letterman a few years ago for example….we’d never ever hear about it.
WGWJD (What Guy Would Jesus Do)?
The Priest should realize that Conan is not an Altar Boy any more !!!
#2, reading the news that’s the impression you would get.
In truth what you have is no higher rates of true pedophilia than the general population, but a very high proportion of gay men, for reasons we need not get into.
Most all of these so-called “pedophilia” stories involve teenage (16+ years old) boys that lonely gay priests seduce. That’s a completely different sort of issue than those with disorders who prey upon young children. It’s the same opportunity for temptation that daddy has when his teenage daughter brings her hot friends over for a sleepover.
It’s generally considered to be unseemly to have men spending quality alone time with teenage girls, and indeed heterosexual priests like any other man would tend to get caught in a compromising situation if they behaved that way. But in the case of closeted gay priests it’s not as obvious and therefore people feel more betrayed when it happens.
I don’t know what the solution is, but clearly the cover-ups have to stop and a zero-tolerance policy towards going after underage tail needs to be enforced.
Last I heard, they had a big conference and the catholic Bishops decided that priests could molest the kiddies until they got caught once and agreed to go to counseling.
They are all for redemption and forgiveness.
Heh, Heh.

Sure… They should do all of that… But then they’d have to move into the 20th Century, and that might be a little too close to the 21st for their comfort.
It’s a religion. They believe in afterlife myths, gods, magic, and all that. Is it any wonder that most religions are still rife with bigotry, hatred, homophobia and misogyny?

Okay… it really is a non-story. But it allows us to argue about religion, and thats more fun that what I would be doing otherwise…
I go to the parish where he used to conduct services. He was always a little weird. For example, after the gospel, he’d sing, or tell us a personal story that deviated from the day’s teachings. No one thought anything of it at the time. Nevertheless, he was actually a very nice guy and we were glad to have him.
When we all found out about this (the head priest told the parish) we were distraught more than upset. This shows a character flaw in the priest, but not a flaw in the archiodes’ system. As for the pedophilia, I agree that the Church complete mishandled it. Those pedophilic (sic) priests here in Boston should’ve been kept away from kids and turned over to the police.
In this case however, the priest was actually doing a fine job in Church. It was only his unhealthy obsession with Conan that has landed him in trouble.
Give the guy a break. He’s not a monster.
He broke his vows. He is supposed to be “married” to the Holy Trinity. That is why he is not supposed to marry a woman. His obsession with another man is in direct opposition to his vocation and his vows not to mention the Catholic Church’s views/edicts on homosexuality.
