As Sea Lawyer said, many on the right voiced similar speculations about Bubba Clinton, yet they were clearly overestimating his avarice & lust for power.

If a Dem gets elected, a lot of regulars on here will probably go crazy as they have lost 90% of their reasons to bitch.
#13 – They’ll still bitch. Every problem that either Hillary or Obama can’t solve will be because Bush left it in such a mess. Even if the Dem got an 8 year term, they’ll still be blaming Bush 8 years from now.
It is a clever video, no question. It does make a good point that those who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it by building the analogy between Hitler and Bush using historical context.
I don’t think the authors believe that the events in the video would actually happen, but they do raise awareness of how easily it could happen if we as a people go to sleep and let it.

The only thing I could think of while watching this is that the video is obviously a really bad fake… if it were really Bush the speach wouldn’t be articulated so well.
It is a silly video. Period.
If you need to read something deeper into it then that is only another demonstration of how silly the commentators are. Geeze, if you want to get your knickers in a knot try commenting on something Bush is actually doing, such as threatening another veto of the FISA rewrite.
Look on the bright side:
we don’t have to put up with all those primary election commercials.
they don’t need to re-do (or re-count) the Florida & Michigan primaries.
