Bush “Envious” Of Soldiers Serving “Romantic” Mission In Afghanistan

President Bush let his inner adventurer out while discussing the state of the war in Afghanistan with military and civilian personnel. While those in Afghanistan detailed the logistical and diplomatic problems via teleconference, the President took a much more whimsical approach to their mission. Via Reuters:

“I must say, I’m a little envious,” Bush said. “If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed.”

“It must be exciting for you … in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You’re really making history, and thanks,” Bush said.

This question allows a lot of venting by those who are sick of bush and another chance at trolling by a few die hard wing nuts.

We must not forget that this Administration will go down in history, regardless of whatever happens, as the worst Presidency. Bush is only the front man for the cabal that has been running the country. I would excuse him for being a dupe if he weren’t denying his personal responsibility.

Jimmy Carter had no fear of getting active overseas after his presidency.

Next year, Bush should forgo the million-dollar speaking fees and head over to Iraq and volunteer.

Bush is a sad little man. Your country has been harmed almost beyond repair because of him and his cohorts that make up the Asses of Evil.

    Is Fred is from Europe?
Will we have to help you like we did when that “corporal” was trying to invade surronding coutries?

#34. Hey there, Fred. Stay out of our affairs. This is between us american citizens and the little man.

Don’t need no stink’n yourapee’n to weigh in.

  7. Greg Allen says:

    >>> # 34 fred said, Bush is a sad little man. Your country has been harmed almost beyond repair because of him and his cohorts that make up the Asses of Evil.

And it wasn’t just our leadership. Million upon millions of American cheered him every step of the way to American’s horrid economic decline and betrayal of our core values.

  8. fred says:

#37. If only your sad little man and his criminal cohorts would leave the rest of the world alone I would be more than happy to agree with you. But no, they have to illegally invade other countries and kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people and displace millions on a lie. Tres bonne. They’re doing a hell of a job killing any democracy in your own country but I’ll do as you say and just watch it all implode from a distance.

  9. Mister Catshit says:

    #35, witless,

    Is Fred is from Europe?
Will we have to help you like we did when that “corporal” was trying to invade surronding coutries?

Not likely. It is more probable that Europe will end up helping the US out within the next few years.

BTW, the US might helped some but the idea that America “won” the war is Hollywood myth.

    #19 … I like it.

If NOTA still wins? Rinse & repeat.
