A woman told police she mistakenly deposited a bag of methamphetamine into her account at an ATM machine in Bremerton.
She says in charging papers that she accidentally put the drug in the envelope when she reached into her pocket for money.
An employee of the Kitsap Credit Union told police that a bag showed up in a deposit envelope for the woman’s account. It tested positive for meth.
She was arrested Thursday and charged Friday with felony drug possession.

What was a meth user doing with money?
Unless she JUST started, something doesn’t add up.
I can understand when a bank rats you out, but I thought credit unions were more friendly than that.
Note to self: Call the bank and ask them if they found my bag of weed.
Nobody ever said that meth heads are brain surgeons or rocket scientists.
Ah, home sweet home. Now everyone will think of Bremerton as a drug town. Unfortunately, meth is a problem everywhere. Stoned people do the darnedest things. If you’re taking meth, you’re not the swiftest person in the race anyway.
She’s just saving some for a rainy day, like every day in Seattle.

My daughter used to work at a bank, and a couple of years ago someone sent a bag of powdered cocaine in with their business deposits. This wasn’t the night deposit or an ATM… it was the drivethrough. The customer (a woman) apparently didn’t realize what she had done, and nobody at the bank told her. They called the cops, but when they came out they said it wasn’t anything they could prosecute because too many people had handled it. (i.e. no chain of custody.)
They did take the coke with them, though.

But the bank was the one who would up possessing the drugs! It’s not fair to get rid of drugs and then still be charged for having them.
That’s like saying a bad word and then you get grounded for it several months later.
Except for the sores, the guy on the lower right actually looks better after, than in the before picture.
