Nearly half of British men surveyed would give up sex for six months in return for a 50-inch plasma TV, says a survey — perhaps unsurprisingly carried out for a firm selling televisions…
The firm found 47 percent of men would give up sex for half a year, compared to just over a third of women.
“It seems that size really does matter more for men than women,” the firm said.
Probably the same here in the States. Except it would have to be a 60″ plasma TV.

I’m willing to bet that 90 per cent of married U.S. men would do the same.It is easy to give up what you get only occasionally and at great cost.

The price of a good 50″ TV $3500. Let’s divide this out as a mean of sex three times a week. There are 52 weeks in a year, so that is 156 times (averages in UK).
So, instead of having sex which forges emotional bonding, reduces stress and feels really good, you get to sit in front of the idiot box and get paid an average of $22.44 for the role in self induced celibacy.

Watching porn on a 50″ TV probably has it’s merits. More research needed to give a definite opinion…
