I wonder if this is a fake. This reminds me of the story about the rechargeable Energizer D cell battery, a product that’s actually less than you might think.

#30, zzpop,
I’m looking for some place that sells pre-mixed red and white striped paint.
Did all of you know that most of the computer hardware you are using right now to read this is made in China?
Oh yeah, especially Apple too.
It’s not the country its the company that’s the reason for crap products. 😉
Cheers
#32 I would agree with that wholeheartedly. Some Chinese manufacturing is very good; Apple and Lenovo computers hold up pretty well, and Fenix flashlights are very good indeed.
But the problem with China that leads to so much crap shipping out of there is the problem with all gangster capitalist states; money is more important than the product, particularly when there is no need to preserve your brand name because you can just change the name on your factory next month. No one abroad will be the wiser.
What China desperately needs at this point is leadership that places the health of the people and the environment over short term gain, but there is no chance of seeing that from the Party and their Chairman, or the Triads that stand behind them. Perhaps if the old Ming Red and Green societies rebelled, there could be change, but the strength of those groups varies widely from one account to another. We can only hope from outside the gates of the Forbidden City, unfortunately.
#33 >>>gangster capitalist states
???
That is a strange way to put it – as China can be described that way. China is a capitalist state and has been that way for the last 20 years. Communism in China is only a label and certainly does not reflect to political ideology.
Chinese government is a one party totalitarian regime and needs to be that way for maybe another 20-30 years. Chinese people will need a few generations to recover from the cultural holocaust Chairman Mao wreaked upon the Chinese people.
If the Chinese republic had endured and Mao was never in power China would not have suffered as it did. You see Mao and the communists were simply the new dynasty – absolute power and the people powerless to do anything about it.
You may want to read about Sun Yet Sen and the Chinese republic…that is unless you are in China as the government has block this for you. (I have a proxy server that bypasses the block)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Yat-sen
So in suggesting that China would be better today if the dynasties endured is a fallacy. China could not exist as it has for thousands of years as a Middle Kingdom in a modern world.
Cheers
IloyG6 Cool, bro!
