CHICKASHA, Okla. (AP) – The millionaire producer of the “Girls Gone Wild” video series has accused guards of abusing him during his brief stay at an Oklahoma jail, a newspaper reported Friday. Guards at the Grady County Law Enforcement Center denied Joe Francis food and blankets and threatened to strap him naked to a chair for 48 hours, Francis’ attorneys alleged last month in court papers seeking his release on bail in a Florida case, The Oklahoman reported. Francis, 34, was held at the jail from May 17 to June 4 while being moved from a Florida jail to a federal facility in Reno, Nev., where he is awaiting trial next year on a tax evasion charge. Grady County officials denied the accusations, telling the newspaper that guards never threatened to strap Francis to a chair, that Francis had an extra blanket he shouldn’t have had confiscated and that his transfer was delayed because his family had somehow found out when he was to have been moved, creating a potential security risk. He has been in jail since April, when he was cited for contempt after yelling at attorneys during mediation in a federal lawsuit brought by women who were underage when his production company filmed them in 2003.

Can I get a little sympathy here?

    Aww, poor guy. He had his blanky taken away. I wish someone went wild on HIS ass.

  2. gquaglia says:

    #1 You have some problem with young, drunk college girls taking their clothes off.

  3. the Three-Headed Cat says:

    No one has a problem with that, the problem is with too-young, underage girls taking their clothes off.

    There’s no shortage of young females with nice bodies who are of legal age, therefore there’s no excuse whatsoever for crossing that age line…

  4. gquaglia says:

    Easy to make the mistake. Fake IDs are very common in spring break towns. Plus I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but many 15,16 and 17 year girls can easily pass for legal with very little effort and the above mentioned fake ID.

  5. Dorksters says:

    I feel badly for the girls that don’t yet know what it is to be embarrassed.

    I figure these girls were attractive all their lives, and possibly made fun of less attractive girls. They don’t know what it is like to be on the receiving side of ridicule, until after they took off their closes and became a tool for the first time.

    All they need next is a tramp stamp to complete the impression they went for.

    It would be nice if we all were born with the experience that only comes after making mistakes.

  6. Bobby Joe says:

    The fellow is in jail because he made up more than
    $20 million in expenses on he tax return. Send him some cheese for that “whine”.

  7. eaze says:

    I thought that there wasn’t actually a law in the US saying that you have to pay tax?

    The girls are slags. Free Joe!!

  8. Dimension says:

    There is a LOT more to this story.

    He has been in jail since April for a CONTEMPT charge. The tax evasion charge that came up later was a blessing because he got moved out of the jail that he was accusing of being abusive.

    He still in jail for the tax charges because he doesn’t want to be moved back to the jail that he accuses of abuse. The jail/judge that he accuses of abuse won’t let him bail out of the contempt charge.

    He is being railroaded by a Florida judge simply because the judge doesn’t like what he does for a living. Period.

  9. huskergrrl says:

    Jail should be the least of his worries. I can’t believe some dingy little girl’s daddy hasn’t put him in the ground yet.

  10. gregallen says:

    >> Guards … threatened to strap him naked to a chair for 48 hours

    Torture:

    First it was suspected terrorists;
    Then it’s sleeze bags like this guy;
    Next it will be a guy you sort of know;
    Then it might be you.

    Sure, you goofball conservatives think torture is neat-o now, but just wait.

    Who Cares?

  12. GF says:

    Florida is full of wish-they-had-a-hill-billy’s. If anyone should have been charged it should have been the cameraman, Joe wasn’t even there. The girls case was thrown out by a higher court due to the extreme measures they went to to lie about their age; Joe’s company did everything they were suppose to by law.

    I’m sick of you morons that think these girls are little angels that would never do something like this intentionally. You’re a bunch of naive dumbass’s trying to protect their virtue. A slut is a slut.

  13. Mr. Fusion says:

    #12, GF,

    The girls case was thrown out by a higher court due to the extreme measures they went to to lie about their age;

    So do you really think that would stop the “Law and Order” crowd still calling for his head?

    One big example of course is porn star Traci Lords.

    Gasbag said, >>> Who Cares?

    When you find yourself jailed because you look like the real crook and the cops strip you naked and strap you to a chair for 48 hours — you’ll care then.

    WAKE UP AMERICA! DON’T LET TORTURE GET A TOE HOLD IN OUR COUNTRY.

    Torture is the penultimate betrayal of American values.

    My God, Who Cares? I CARE! Greg Allen puts it best, Torture is the penultimate betrayal of American values!
