Other than last’s week’s Verified by Visa and Earthlink frauds (as previously reported) it’s just junk-mail as usual: Drugs, porn, counterfeit software and mortgage spam with the occasional stock pump & dump to go.
Otherwise, the SpamStats for last week are virtually unchanged, though Regions.com has vaulted to the top place in Phishing frauds, and TCF is back in the top 3 after several weeks of absence.

I don’t believe Microsoft can kill linux, even with
device drivers.. Worse comes to worse, China will just
make drivers for linux and embrace Linux hardware.
Forget not the real enemy.. Microsoft is more problem
than solution. Software is not meant to perpetuate forever..
I mean, when does it ever become enough? And question,
how many open source packages would not have been developed
in a commercial world.. Many.. Capitalism and Software Engineering don’t really mix.. Unix was here before Windows, it will be here after..
What about the top redirect sites? They are a real PITA! It would help if companies like ZD shut their open re-directs so spammers didn’t abuse them so much.
