The pr0n background music gives it a nice touch (pun intended).

I had a cat that would do that, except he moved his head side to side more then the one in the video. It was a black cat and we wanted to get sunglasses on it and video tape it cause we kinda thought he looked like ray charles when he did it, but it died before we could.

  3. jdm says:

Eh, I have a Beagle that does basically the same thing when scratched in the same area–except there’s a lot more drool involved

  4. lakelady says:

not unusual at all. lots of cats have what I call a “lick button” near the base of their tails.

  5. hhopper says:

Most cats have the “lick switch” but this guy made a really hilarious video of it. I particularly love the elephant yawn.

  6. mark says:

So thats what Isaac Hayes is doing these days. Just talkin bout Shaft, can ya dig it?

  7. BubbaRay says:

There’s also a “thumper switch” located just at the rear base of either ear. Hit it just right, then get out of the way quickly lest your hand be mauled by the immediate furious ear scratching.

Now if I could just find the “off” switch for the “climb human leg” mode. 🙂

  8. luc-movel says:

Right on, I had a cat that did that too. I also have experimented it in a few cats and I found two other that reacted in the same way.

“lots of cats have what I call a “lick button” near the base of their tails.”

Women have a similar lick button, it’s called a clitoris.

[Angel you horny bastard! – ed.]

  10. steelcobra says:

Heh, most of the cats I know just do the butt-raise when you scratch them there.

  11. Joshua says:

#10….steelcobra….maybe the cats you know…..know something about you we don’t. 🙂

  12. steelcobra says:

That would be the case…if they didn’t do that regardless of who did it.

  13. Dolores says:

After watching this video I went and tried this out on my cat Sonic, he enjoyed it very much, but not nearly the reaction the cat in the video had. Just some kneading with the claws and what I call head butting.
