A prominent Woodland dentist suspected of groping more than two dozen female patients tried to keep his license Thursday by arguing chest massages were an appropriate procedure in certain cases.
Dr. Mark Anderson appeared at Thursday’s hearing before a state administrative judge to defend himself against the state dental board’s attempt to suspend his license pending resolution of the charges against him.
His lawyer, Robert Zaro, told Judge Jonathan Lew that articles from dental journals discussed the need to “palpate” the pectoral muscles in cases of temporal mandibular joint disorder, or TMJ, a common jaw problem that can cause head and neck pain.

But, did he also palpate the musculature of his male clientele with TMJ? Only then would he have plausible deniability.
I’m sure the women in question weren’t flat chested.
The “chest cavity” , an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
I had a hygienist that always rubbed her tits in my face. I’d eat a whole box of Oreos before I’d go to that appointment.

I don’t know what it was, but he just rubbed me the wrong way.
What I don’t get is the women who say they were groped 5 or 6 times over the course of a couple years. What’s wrong with these women? It’s one thing not to report the guy, but why would you keep going back? It’s not hard to find dentists–they’re everywhere. I understand some women find it hard to get out of violent relationships too, but this is your dentist for Christ’s sake–just find another one already.
