I like the idea of the Tech 5 reports, and the content therein, but please, can you stop deliberately inserting stupid noises. They only serve to detract from the content contained.

  2. moss says:

It isn’t even redundant “news” – it’s redundant press releases passed off as redundant news.

As for the noises, I still think the cauldron is an aquarium pump. See if there are controls sufficient to reduce the cycles by a third. Might sound more like a cauldron, then.

Other than that, I like the noises. So do my dogs.

  3. cauldron man says:

Love the cauldron! Sets this podcast apart. Cauldron all the way.

  4. John Paradox says:

    Double, double, toil and trouble
    Dvorak Rant, and Cauldron bubble.

    J/P=?

  5. Tired of Listening says:

TURN OFF THE STUPID SOUND EFFECTS.

  6. ECA says:

    Just watched cranky,
and its interesting that the head crank reads my posts.. At least someone does.

  7. ECA says:

    Solar desktop/laptop???
Let it set for 1 day and you might have enough power for 4 hours…
UNLESS they went to a flash HD. And I wouldnt be using the cd/dvd much..

  8. Ho-Lip Tex says:

Would it be possible to add a volume control to the Flash applet? Your blog is unnecessarily loud in comparison to virtually everything else.

…and just exactly how does the cauldron bother anyone? You can barely even hear it, and it’s a rather pleasant background noise.
