Only the Japanese could dramatize this to an extreme.

  1. OvenMaster says:

This just proves that television blows in Japan, too.

  2. undissembled says:

Japs can dramatize a cat licking its ass.

  3. Mac Guy says:

    That’s GOTTA hurt.

I was kinda hoping for a huge cannonball.

  4. chuck says:

Big deal. I once saw Bugs Bunny jump from 1,000 feet into a glass of water. Then Daffy Duck jumped from 5,000 feet into a concrete block.

It’s a great way to encourage kids to get active.

  5. AdmFubar says:

Next on the Dave Katakana-man show, more stupid american tricks.

  6. jlm says:

too bad they didnt move it right before he hit

  7. Mister Mustard says:

Jeez. They could have cut out everything but the last 59 seconds (and half of what came after that) and it would have been just as good.

  8. Juice Master says:

Oh come on! : ) That was entertaining! Real Carnival Show Stuff. : )

  9. Axtell says:

    7-

But they always talk it up, always oversell it…that’s typical japanese game show drama.

  10. Elwood Pleebus says:

10 meters!!! I thought you said 10 feet!

  11. hhopper says:

What the hell… I was impressed. I sure wouldn’t do it. Painful bellyflop.

  12. Improbus says:

    Slow news day?

  13. Awake says:

Gotta remember that in case I ever fall out of an airplane during a terrorist attack. Aim for the kiddie pool.

  14. prophet says:

#2 – undissembled – Have you ever seen a cat lick it’s ass? It is actually quit disturbing, yet strangely entertaining.

  15. Mark T. says:

Best belly buster EVER! That’s gotta hurt.

  16. dvdchris says:

Aka ni taishite burei da! Yoguri ni yoberu!
Honki da yo! Kore! Minna doke! Burabura shiteru tokoro ja nai!
Ore to issho ni nasu ka, shinu ki ka?
Aa! Isamashii houmu rogo desu ne?
    Ausuma pauwa!
Misutaa Supaakoru! Un no yoo besuto washuuuuuu!

  17. MacBandity says:

I don’t care what anyone says I love Japanese television. It’s television at it’s purest. Truly just entertainment no rules, no liability laws, low budget.

  18. TIHZ_HO says:

#1 Oh you’re dead wrong its funny as hell! LOL

#17 I agree especially if its over dubbed in English…not exactly translating

    #9 And Americans don’t? LOL!!! 😀

I can’t help but think of Mike Myers and Chris Farley on SNL with this one! ROTFL!

    Cheers

  19. JMB says:

#1 I wouldn’t go as far as to say Japanese TV blows…
And it’s not necessarily that they over dramatize everything. The thing is like 70% of the shows on TV are variety shows, and after a while you kinda run out of… you know… variety. If your doing something no one has seen before, regardless of how stupid, you can be on Japanese TV.

  20. JPD says:

Wonder how long it will be until this guy is on Letterman, doing the jump from the street outside the Ed Sullivan Theater??

  21. Ralph, the School Bus Driver says:

His debut made quite a splash !!!

I’m sure he got some real belly laughs.

I don’t get why he made a cross first. If he is that stupid to jump 70 M into a wading pool then why would god save him?

Afterwards, was his cup half full, half empty, or just pushed into his scrotum?
