A Daily Briefing on Iran: Regime’s planned celebration at the Marriott Hotel CANCELED! — You have to wonder exactly how do things get this far? What is wrong with these people that stuff like this even gets booked?
The Marriott corporation has just announce that it had canceled an event to celebrate the “Islamic victory against America.”
The event, billing itself as: “”Twenty Sixth Anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution and Death to America Day”,” was scheduled for tomorrow[Sunday].
Then again, the whole event may have been done by the CIA so they could take names. It seems like a likely scenario to me. I mean, Bethesda? Give me a break. If that’s the case, then it was botched up by the complainers.
I think it is unfair to make fun of those people’s dreams. I mean, you know, only in their dreams.
Rome fell, what makes you think America is immune to collapse? It *could* happen, and if history is any indication it will happen as all other civilizations have.
The real strenght of America is free speech. Yes, the death of America can be a dream to these radicals and yes, it can (will?) happen one day, but the real problem would be to assure proper security for an event like this… Wouldn’t everyone want to turn against the participants? Would a bomb be likely? It’s so silly and almost naive… But all the more this proves how America is a free, democratic and strong nation, if it even allows people to speak against it! For as long as it allows things like this to happen, I think America has the upper hand and has nothing seriously to fear.
