Elementary teacher says kiss was not sexual

A former Nipomo elementary school teacher accused of French-kissing a third-grade girl last year testified Tuesday that he kissed the student on or around her lips—but not for sexual gratification.

Grey said Tuesday that he kissed the girl once.

“I never put my tongue in her mouth,” he testified.

The girl came to sit on his lap while watching a science movie in a classroom, Grey said, and she wouldn’t move back to her desk when he asked her to.

She wanted a piece of chocolate instead of the beef jerky that he’d given to students earlier, he said.

When he dismissed the class early for recess, he said, the girl stayed behind, even as he prompted her to leave.

He then picked her up, put her on a table and kissed her. The kiss wasn’t sexual in nature, he said.

Sitting on my lap is OK, right?

    So… I don’t know what judgment to rush to…

Is he a perverted pederast who deserves to be anally raped forever in hell?

Or did the girls parent’s train her so they could cash in on a school district’s cash?

I just know which way to jerk my knee.

“I just know which way to jerk my knee. ”

    dude…..me neither……..

  3. art says:

I wonder who and how would report the story if this was a 70-year old woman and third-grade boy….

  4. Sea Lawyer says:

He should sue her for assault by violating his personal space.

  5. William says:

So basically no one is allowed to have any physical contact with children in this country…else you will be sued and your name dragged though the mud. Poor kids of tomorrow.

  6. Iamanassholetoo says:

I must agree with 1 and 2 but I lean toward the incident being inocent.

  7. OhForTheLoveOf says:

#5 – I strongly sympathize with your point!

  8. morram says:

    Hey!
No teacher should be French-kissing a girl until she’s in sixth grade girl.

  9. Gig says:

They should be concerned that he gave the kids beef jerky.

  10. hhopper says:

OFTLO and #5 – Me too. It’s almost scary to be around other peoples kids nowadays. I’m afraid that anything I do might be misinterpreted.

  11. The kiss went too far. The teacher should have shown more restraint. But young girls do show afftection to older guys. A couple of years ago I went on a date with a Jersey girl. We ended up in a penthouse bar near Times Square drinking it up. After a couple of hours I got her to agree to go back to my apartment. We head out of the hotel lounge and are walking out on Broadway to catch a cab. She let’s out a scream, “OH, MY GOD”… By coincidence at the exact time we are on Broadway she runs into a family that she had met earlier in the day at a NJ Turnpike rest area. They start talking about the strange coincidence. The couple have two daughters: one is in a baby stroller the other one, about 8 or 9 years old is standing by her parents. I’m just standing there late on a Friday night with the lights of Broadway shining away. Next thing I know, the young girl comes over to my side and wraps her arm around my thigh and leans her head on me. I am touched and I proceeded to stroke her hair (there was absolutely no sexual feelings) but all of a sudden reality broke in… at the same time, me and the little girl looked at her dad who seemed to be getting upset. She immediately let go and went over to her father and hugged his leg instead. The meet up ends with some warning from the folks to watch out for danger. My date tells me of the incredible coincidence. I hail a cab but then she changes her mind. She tells me that we should go on another date instead. I go home alone, again.

Worse, we’re going to raise a whole generation of kids without affection…so sad.

  13. OhForTheLoveOf says:

#11 – That’s a really interesting story. Thank you for sharing.

  14. JimR says:

#11, I’ve seen it happen before… the little girl probably mistook your leg for her fathers or possibly another familiar male acquaintance.
A natural protective reaction from the father IMO.

I agree with #5 somewhat. BUT, another 27 yr old came forward and recalled her buttocks being rubbed several times by this man (he would be 52 then I guess). All in all, even if he was overly affectionate and if there was no actual harm done, at worst he should be fired. He shouldn’t have kissed her anywhere near her mouth. Cheek maybe yes, mouth… you’ve crossed the line buddy. There has to be a line.

  15. bobbo says:

Knee jerk is funny but why not advocate for common sense?

Obviously——OBVIOUSLY——kissing of any kind is inappropriate==french or otherwise. Given this appears to be isolated and not extreme and initiate by the student, I would think a “first level” counseling is the only appropriate response a la “Dont do it again!”

Any lawsuit should be dismissed for lack of damages.

    Easy.

  16. Jägermeister says:

#3 – I wonder who and how would report the story if this was a 70-year old woman and third-grade boy….

It would be reported here at dvorak.org, and all the horny virgins here wish they were that boy…

I would say that the parents of that boy want a gay child.

  18. Mr. Fusion says:

It sounds innocent to me. Of course, in this day, he made a bad decision. I assume it was done more as a reaction then anything motivated.

  19. Mr. Fusion says:

    #11, David

So you’re back. I hope you’re well. It doesn’t sound like your luck is any better with the ladies.

  20. #19, it’s a thin line between genius and insanity…

As a lifelong bachelor I’m rarely around the little ankle biters, and when I am I just make that noise that Lurch makes and radiate “mean”.
