Telling someone not to fall asleep at a baseball game makes about as much sense as telling someone not to fall asleep in a comfy bed after a hard day’s work and a glass of warm milk.
Can someone explain why fans get excited about no-hitters. Let me clue you idiots in, when the absence of action occurs in a sporting event, that’s boring! Heck, maybe this proves that baseball isn’t really a sport. It’s a pastime that’s way past its time.
I don’t think hopper meant it that way. hilarious video.
#1 earned his name
3. “#1 earned his name”
But of course calling me a Jerk doesn’t negate anything I’ve said. It just makes you feel better, right?
Great find hhopper! 😀
#1 – Couldn’t have said it better myself. 🙂
I have to agree with #1. The fact that so many found it entertaining to watch this moron (WHO WAS FALLING ASLEEP, BTW) instead of the game kinda says something.
You wouldn’t see this at an NFL game, ever.
Reminds me of the CUBS.
…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
If you think baseball is booring try sitting through a soccer football match…. the game is so dull that the only way the supporters can make it interesting is to beat each other up…..
Good point Ben. I find Soccer (FootBol) to be incredibly boring when it’s considered exciting when one of the teams makes 2 goals. This is why that annoucer has to scream “Gooooooooooooal” at the top of his lungs for 2 minutes just to kill some time.
Jerk-Face has a point but you’re still an asshole. Can you play a no hitter game? That actually takes some skill buddy. Any moron and run around a giant field and NOT score a goal for hours on end in a Soccer game.
First off: I’m no sports fan.
The reason Soccer isn’t as boring as baseball is that even when no points are being scored, at least there are a dozen guys actually moving around and DOING SOMETHING besides scratching themselves or spitting tobacco.
Anyone fancy a test cricket match? Five days of watching 22 guys shining cherries is a bit of an ordeal.
11. “at least there are a dozen guys actually moving around and DOING SOMETHING besides scratching themselves or spitting tobacco.”
Best comment ever!
test cricket match is about 5 days of sitting in the sun and drinking beer.
Regardless of the pissing match that has evolved on this thread…
…I loved this video, it made me smile.
the Tiki
Video aside, this thread shows most people here make fun of what they can’t do.
Sounds like a lot of geeks I have met.
16. “this thread shows most people here make fun of what they can’t do.”
I could easily inject steroids, stand around, spit, and scratch my balls. I just have enough brains to choose not to.
They must have had him on the Jumbotron
I don’t think that was a baseball game. The guy gives two fingers at the end which leads me to believe he is British and what they did to him seems to be something that is beyond the intellect of a bunch of baseball fans. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t baseball, which I agree is incredibly boring, but seems to me it wasn’t. The guy who submitted it to youtube was also from the UK.
the guy sheepishly sticks two fingers up at the end (not a middle finger), and the beer looks a little brown for North American ballgames … i’d suggest probably a cricket match, UK probably, Australia/NZ maybe.
@11
Only people moving around in a soccer match are the players near the ball. Everyone else is picking their jock straps outta their asses. Ever go to your kids soccer game and see how friggin bored the kids are?
