Nikki doesn’t like Paris

You know something is a tad weird when paragons of restraint and virtue, Motley Crue, think Paris Hilton has gone too far!

Motley Crue: Throw Paris Hilton In Jail

Motley Crue have made it known that they’re not big fans of “shitty porn star” Paris Hilton by supporting a ‘Throw Paris Hilton In Jail’ petition.

In answer to an online petition asking the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to show leniency, the aging rockers have put their full support behind a rival petition asking the Governor to ensure Paris serves her full 45-day sentence.

The petition lists the instances (and there are quite a few) when Paris has “knowingly and willingly broken the law” and urges the Governor to “ignore other petitions asking for clemency and show the people of California that no one is above the law.”

The band seem to have a particular problem with the New York Times’ coverage of events, posting on their official website:

“Why is the NY Times wasting space talking about Paris Hilton’s petition to keep her out of jail for drunk driving…twice! Join Nikki Sixx, The Exies and other artists in supporting real talent, not bitches like Paris.”

In a pot-calling-the-kettle-black scenario, they add that we should sign the petition and tell the NY Times to “support real artists, real musicians, real actors, not shitty porn stars.”

Paris is due to begin her jail sentence – now cut to 23 days – on June 5.

Who needs articles on war and politics and icky poor people and stuff when we can gossip about Paris? That’s so hot!!

  1. TheGlobalWarmer says:

My respect for Motley Crue has gone up astronomically.

  2. RTaylor says:

Does anyone really think the state of California is going to risk throwing this Hilton child in a general jail population? She’ll be placed in solitary with a hand picked staff to watch over her.

  3. Sounds The Alarm says:

I’ve never been a Motley Crue fan until now.

  4. Improbus says:

I never thought I would like Motley Crue for anything.

  5. Dirt says:

She should do some time, but not that much. A week in the pen would be more than adequate, and that should be the recommended sentence for her and anybody else in California that commits this heinous dastardly crime.

I think the only point they miss expressing is this: if she were in an accident, and somebody was injured – her insurance wouldn’t cover any damages because of the license issue. However, her family could afford just about any lawsuit that came their way, IF anything happened.

Also, I think this is a desperate grab at getting some free advertising for their band. Perhaps he’s just pissed off that she’s sold more albums in the past 12 months than the Crue (yikes!). Sheesh dude, follow Sammy’s lead, go buy an island somewhere, and sit on the beach for the rest of forever…

  6. Mr. Fusion says:

I don’t care for Motely Crue. I don’t care for Paris Hilton. Let all of ’em rot in jail for their misdeeds, whatever they are. Can we go back to whining about the price of gas?

  7. TheGlobalWarmer says:

Fusion, who says we can’t rightfully wish great discomfort on Ms. Parasite and whine about the ridiculous price of gas? It’s called Multi-tasking. 😉

  8. Li says:

I agree that 45 days is a bit much, but she should still pay for her crime. Her whiny “don’t jail me cause I’m special” line would only work if she had a position in the executive branch.

  9. OhForTheLoveOf says:

That’s all kind of funny… Motley Crue all of a sudden has new fans. Why? Because we like those who hate what we hate….

That kinda sucks. I don’t remember thinking this way when I was younger. I remember saying to a friend, “Hey… You know what I really like about…” But these days its, “Hey, you know what I hate?”

So you know what? I don’t care what a washed up 80’s hair metal band thinks. I didn’t like them then, and I don’t think they have anything of value to add now. And I don’t have a problem with Paris Hilton because I don’t know her and she isn’t even remotely affecting my life.

I may bemoan a society obsessed with a celebrity whose only claim to fame is that she’s famous, and has failed to demonstrate a single talent or interesting quality to make her worthy of attention… But I have no personal issue with her.

Except maybe this… She has been arrested more than once for driving under the influence of alcohol? And she’s being asked to serve 45 days?

    45 days?

What is wrong with our society that you can spend years in prison on ridiculous drug charges… but driving under the influence is treated like jaywalking? This is al least her second offence… Minimum one year, and no few than 7 years before she can be eligable to apply for a driver’s lisence again.

We would harshly punish someone charged with attempted homicide. What is the difference between that and DWI?

  10. Docred says:

Kudos to #9. I have to agree…I find it strange we lavish so much attention as a society on someone who, as you said, only has money as a claim to fame – and really, not her own money. Family money.

She should get the same punishment as any convicted offender for the crime she has committed. I don’t understand the issue. Go to court, argue your case, take your medicine either way. Since she does appear to be a repeat offender, and a liar about the whole issue, I think it is only fair she get the maximum sentence, but I would think that about any repeat offender.
It does irk me that being famous and/or wealthy often exempts people from the full weight of the law, and that in this case I’m sure it will happen, but that particular problem has been around as long as we have had societies. It isn’t the first time, won’t be the last.

  11. RMR says:

    Classic.

I figure they were probably sitting around and said, “Crap, I had to do time for that…and what, she doesn’t? I call the BS flag!”

  12. mark says:

Maybe she should offer the judge say……..a little extracurricular activity…..maybe a night in PARIS!

  13. Brock says:

I have to buy a Motley Crue album.

I bet I can find one on Half.com for 75 cents.

  14. laineypie says:

i rpoudly support paris hilton goign to jail. I signed the petition

  15. Brian says:

Kind of hypocritical for a group of over the hill rockers who have indulged in countless amounts of illegal drugs to be pushing for the jailing of *anyone*.

  16. ChrisMac says:

#9 We would harshly punish someone charged with attempted homicide. What is the difference between that and DWI?

    You mean you can’t tell?

I suppose your also in favour of jailing people for thought crimes.
    And the death sentence

  17. OhForTheLoveOf says:

#16 – If you get into a car and you have been drinking… Fuck you. Driving under the influence is no different than trying to kill innocent people.

I suppose your also in favour of jailing people for thought crimes.
    And the death sentence

I am anti-death penalty and anti-hate crime legislation. And if you read this blog regularly, you know that. Drunk driving is ACTIVELY wrecklessly endangering the lives of others.

I don’t know if you’ve ever scraped a little girls brains off a windshield. I have. Fuck anybody driving drunk. They can rot in a cell for all I care.

  18. Motley Crue #1 Fan says:

You know what to those who dont like Motley Crue FUCK YOU and those who like paris hilton FUCK YOU
Motley Crue has a fucking piont so i support what Motley Crue says if you do the crime do the fucking time ohhhh paris hilton is a fucking slut and should fucking rot in hell Motley Crue 4 Life

  19. PJ says:

Everyone has to take responsibility for their actions. Even the filthy rich. Paris needs to learn a lesson that obviously hasn’t yet. Perhaps she wouldn’t be so prone to nervous breakdowns if she lived in the real world for a little while. It’ll give her some strength of character, which she desperately needs! Throw her back in the clink!

  20. Rain ~ AKA Devil's Bitch says:

I hope Paris spends her entire sentence there in a shared cell with a big butch called “Big Momma”

  21. ECA says:

Go post on the New post…

  22. stevesavage says:

I know this is a old post but i need to say this..

#5, the only month span when paris hilton could have possiably sold more albums then motley crue is the month her album came out (and i’m saying crue sales vs her sales for that one month only), but i’m 110% sure it didn’t happen. hilton has sold 607,000 copies in the U.S. and just over 1 million units worldwide. motley crue has sold over 72 million albums worldwide. Dr. feelgood (1989) alone has sold more than 6 million units in the U.S. alone and there worst selling studio album has gone gold in the US (over 500,000 units sold). so you are sooo wrong, its sick.

and for anyone saying motley crue is a washed up hair band, there 2005 tour was the number 2 grossing tour of that year. so if there washed up, i guess the rest of the acts playing in 2005 suck real bad?? and that tour was only motley crue, no opening acts. where other bands and hip-hop acts of 2005 were touring with 3 or 5 acts on a bill to draw more sales.

most of todays music is a joke. i’m not saying motley crue is led zeppelin , the beach boys, elvis or the beatles, but there worlds better then 90% of the new stuff out there, and 90 billion light years better in every way then paris ‘the waste of air’ hilton.

This is a older post but that`s funny that aging rockers like Motley Crue who were more well known for their legendary decadence and indulgence in excess than for their music (unlike Guns N` Roses who had both the lifestyle and music that could actually be considered good by some standards) think that Paris Hilton should be thrown in jail.

When did they become shining examples of good behaviour and moral conduct? I`ve read The Dirt
and though Paris Hilton is undeniably a mentally-challenged,promiscuous spoiled blonde brat and a bad example to young women,I can`t see how she has done anything worse than what Motley Crue did throughout the 1980`s.
Don`t they like ”shitty porn stars” to begin with? Although it should be added that if Motley Crue thinks Paris Hilton has gotten out of hand than that`s really saying something.Personally I never liked Motley Crue or Paris Hilton.

  24. StofLA says:

I know its an old post, but I came across it, and it was quite interesting to read.

Who cares about what Motley Crue did in the ’80s. Whether they broke the law or not, Paris deserved her time. She broke the law (and not just once), she oughta face the consequences just like you, I, or any other U.S citizen would. I personally dislike her to begin with. “My new BFF”? Oh please, what kind of show is that.

Motley crue..you guys may be old, but I love your music. Rock on. 🙂
