wow. Those two losers have a lot of time on their hands.
That was LAME. This one is WAYYYYY funnier!

Reverse video, right? Cheesy.
FREAKING LOOSERS!
Good thing they kept the pot smoking off camera.
I don’t think it’s reverse video (check out the slow motion.) It’s probably the technique of shooting an impossible shot hundreds of times until it inadvertently works. Then, when the video is edited together, it looks amazing.
It seemed very jerky at times, like it was edited in.
Video editing, he was always wearing the glasses, just that they were erased until it needed to be seen.
This is a Ray-Ban ad, come on. I’m not fully educated on how the video editing was accomplished, but it’s fake for sure. On the car at the end, you see the words “Never Hide” written in the dust on the window. That’s Ray-Ban’s slogan.
If it was real, I’d be more impressed with the guy who was throwing the glasses instead of the guy “catching” them. Hell, he just sits there while the guy throwing the glasses puts the right spin on them to get them to land right on the guy’s face. Now that’s talent.
You people are idiots….of course it was edited, of course it was fake…and the person who made the comment about them maybe shooting it hundreds of times before they got it right is a complete moron, the moron of the rest of you morons….the king kahuna moron of you all.
#10 lighten up

#10 – Hey thanks for the King Kahuna Moron Award. I’m honored.
(Some impossible looking stunts are shot that way though.)
Cool commercial! 🙂
The very first scene was real. The rest were done using two pair of sunglasses. In the 2 skateboard scenes and the car scene, they manually Photoshop the glasses off the guy’s head in each frame before the throw, and manually Photoshop the falling glasses in each frame afterward.
Pretty clever marketing scheme by Ray Ban. They didn’t even have to mention their product name.
Another year and I’m passed up again for the King Kahuna Moron Award.
10. Mike- Who died and made you the presenter of the king kahuna moron award, huh?
I’ll be passing the King Kahuna Moron Award around. Each week one of you morons will get to have it for the weekend.
This is magic at it’s best — in a slacker style, which is kind of refreshing rather than the guy in the cape and a wand. We know it’s fake but can’t really figure it out.

My theory: a zillion out-takes and a few dozen trips to the hospital treating poked eyes. 😉
My theory – *some* parts of the video are filmed in reverse, and the glasses are pulled from the ‘catcher’ with some invisible – on Youtube – string, like a nylon string. With very good editing this might be the end result. In the skate scene, the reverse filming is a bit more obvious, especially when the ‘thrower’ turns his face to the camera again.
Just a theory. Very well done video.
lots of attempts edited down. I like how these guys don’t break stride when they hit the target.
throwing cans
#20 Didnt you read above your own post and see that the head moron award had already been given and you can no longer make statements worthy of the head moron position? This clip is edited, but not edited as in cutting out failures.
Yeah, I’ve got the award and I’m not giving it up.
You have to say it’s a pretty good fake to make so many people dispute it. My $.02 – any artifacts of fakery are hidden by the poor end result video quality.
23, you should trademark it as the Über Ultimate King Kahuna Moron Award and share it with some special moron at least once a week.
Mommy!! Mommy!! I got the UUKKMA today!!
