What exactly do you do with something like this? Set up a display where visitors can aim a fake gun on the ledge? How much for the grassy knoll where the real killer stood?

Read to the end of the article for the new Kennedy conspiracy theory — is this the real window or not.

$3 Million For JFK Sniper Window

An item described as the window and frame from where Lee Harvey Oswald shot US President John F Kennedy in 1963 has been sold at auction on eBay.

A mystery bidder paid more than $3m (£1.5m) for the item, apparently from Oswald’s shooter’s nest at the Texas Schoolbook Depository.

UPDATE: For those commenters who scoff at the Oswald-wasn’t-alone theory, don’t forget that Watergate participant and ex-CIA spook E. Howard Hunt stated on his deathbed that LBJ ordered the hit by the CIA and that Lucien Sarti was the shooter on the grassy knoll.

I’m getting tired of hearing this. It was clearly revealed well over a year ago that Oswald had the chance to shoot more than once because of the back brace Kennedy wore that kept him upright after the first shot hit.

How much for the grassy knowl? 🙂

In times of more and more lies from President Bush and the Pentagon who cares – it is a window for the price of a very nice house.

    1. And that means he acted alone? You really should read the Rolling Stones piece. Its excellent. E. Howard Hunts deathbed confession as being in charge of the other shooters, was one of the 3 “tramps” arrested on the railroad tracks nearby, as a side note, the actor “Woody Harrelsons'” father was also one of the three. He was later convicted for murdering a Federa;l judge, and he too died about the same time as E Howard.

But hey, I’m just a CT.

I would encourage anyone who is now buying into those E Howard Hunt stories of his “deathbed confession” to actually read the Vanity Fair article. The confession comes from his estranged, meth dealer son and the writer clearly is “nudge nudge wink winking” that it’s probably complete crap.
