    Katamari Damacy

  2. Mark Derail says:

    #1 came to say that.

So I’ll say, marketing Karma for that NON-Toyota unscathed US Built 90’s SUV.

Guy I know spent a fortune in upkeep on the Ford Bronco, doing the work himself. Even had the transmission stolen.

Now he drives a sporty Honda Accord, and is amazed on how little gas his new car uses !!!

  3. Peter iNova says:

This won a visual effects award last year.

  4. Noam Sane says:

The way this cuts from one part of San Francisco to another reminds me of the car chases in ‘Dirty Harry’. If you’re familiar with the layout of the city, it provides a bit of cognitive dissonance…for instance, this thing rolls out of Mission Dolores park, right onto California Street downtown. Wild.

Fun to watch. I’m glad everyone survived.

Here’s an ad that sort of the opposite:

  6. hhopper says:

    OOPS! Let me try again.

  7. hhopper says:

Geez. I wish there was a preview on here. One more time:

#7, hhopper, 3rd time’s the charm. Cool commercial. And yes, wouldn’t a preview be nice?

  9. Mark T. says:

Awesome commercial, but a blatant Katamari Damacy ripoff. I hope Namco is getting royalties.

I guess that means that the video game generation is now coming of age as is currently working in the advertising industry. Check out this Coca Cola ripoff of Grand Theft Auto:

#9, Mark T., thanks for the link. Great commercial. Was that shown during the Super Bowl last year?
