The University of Missouri Colombia is on the top ten list of best schools of Journalism in the US. The ginger-haired lady at the end of the video calling for muscle is listed as a staff “Communications Professor”.

Ha! I love the way the last guy slips through these morons at the end.

  2. funny video 🙂 I like that kind of action

  3. NewFormatSux says:

We should stop funding higher education when this is the nonsense they are doing.

  4. NewFormatSux says:

This is funny, because the media would only be praising these radicals, and even can be credited with creating them after they lied about TrayVon Martin and so many other cases.

    • Tim says:

      “funny”

Ha Ha funny, or funny PC

“whatcha doin’ with that hammer, Carl?

        This milk tastes funny.

If the media hadn’t promoted Ferguson, the murder rate would not have doubled in the state since then.

Missouri has been near the top in black murder rate for many years, unnoticed compared to Detroit or Chicago or Atlanta.

    • Carl says:

Dang, I must have missed out on that white privilege part. I had to serve in the military and put my life on the line for years just for the chance to go to college.

      What a bunch of pussies.

    • Carl says:

Actually 2 of them were, both have resigned. Some of those students need to be disciplined as well, for intimidation and bullying. Its what the Liberals want, so they must abide by the same standards.

  8. Eddie says:

Personally, I’d like to hear her explanation for why she did this. I don’t expect I will.

  9. NewFormatSux says:

So the media takes notice when it is journalists that are shut down, but when it is other speakers who get heckled or disinvited, no big deal. Aayan Hirsh Ali gets shouted down routinely or the university says it is too unsafe.

  10. NewFormatSux says:

It’s not just colleges, at the Center for American Progress:

Coming to work at CAP gives many of us the opportunity to make this country safe and accepting of all. While we watch the hate crimes, discrimination and biases faced by some of our communities, we come to work every day proud that this institution is a space where our voices will be respected and where our leadership assures we feel safe, respected and heard. In that sense this place isn’t so much a job or a profession or a nine-to-six. It’s a survival tactic. But it’s not just about our individual struggles because, in the words of MLK, we’re not free until we’re all free.

And at CAP we are a family. We spend more hours with one another at this institution than we do with our own families and friends outside the office. It is imperative that we feel confident in this building to improve the lives of all Americans, and essentially to work on getting us all free. It becomes difficult to step outside of our building and say to our allies why this visit is happening, for some of us here we ourselves feel that we were not considered in that decision.

    • ± says:

If CAP helps to legitimize the liberal bullshit invention of the concept of “hate crime” then CAT is a negative force in society supporting an invented lie concept. (Although this could just be your personal sorry misguided unofficial shadow falling on CAP)

There are crimes; the motivation for the crime doesn’t mitigate it in the least. There is no such thing as a hate crime any more than there is such a thing as a love crime.

And you invoke MLK with reverence, MLK who every year as more of what he wrote is digitized and becomes searchable and is confirmed as plagiarized (now way above 50%). MLK is scum. Most people you would pick randomly on the street are more honorable than he was. We need a holiday that celebrates “most people you would pick randomly on the street”, not a holiday that celebrates a lying, cheating, lowlife.

We do agree about one thing. Your name change to the NewFormatSux was right on then (when the formatÂą of this group changed) and is still right on now.

      • Hmeyers says:

“Hate crime” is an important part of society.

Just like “road rage” is important term for highway safety.

The idea of a “hate crime” is targeting another group

(race, gay people, an unusual religion)

The third world lives in societies dominated by “hate crimes”. Religious violence, tribal violence.

The idea of a “hate crime” is anti-tribalism social behavior tool.

Modern society is founded on the idea of socially condemning neanderthal-like tribal behavior and violence.

        • ± says:

Your grandmother is dead when killed by black punks shouting ‘honky cunt’ as they plunge a knife in her heart when they steal her purse. She is just as dead when some white guy executes her with a 9mm when stealing her purse. The crime is murder. It can’t be mitigated.

“Hate crime” is a liberal bullshit construct.

What is a crime? It parses back to what is moral. What is moral, is that which is the most good for the most people. Actions which are not ‘the most good for the most people’ are immoral. Almost always the golden rule applies. If you don’t want it done to yourself, then doing it to someone else is a wrong. Your motivation is irrelevant. Bringing a person’s motivation for committing a crime into the equation is a bullshit power gambit invention by liberal scum. Liberal scum say that the black guy killing your (presumably white) grandmother while yelling a racial epithet is guiltier than the white guy who says nothing while he kills her. That is pure bullshit.

          • noname says:

Is Herr little dummkopf Fuhrer afraid that killing jews is a hate crime?

          • Hmeyers says:

You are considering the individual act and the justice system.

            Humans are a group animal.

Specifically, humans are “monkey see, monkey do”.

If you don’t attack the lowest behavior socially, it grows.

          • Ah_Yea says:

            I agree, and expand.

If your grandmother is white, and is killed by a white, no one cares.

If your grandmother is white, and is killed by a black, no one cares.

If your grandmother is black, and is killed by a black, no one cares.

If your grandmother is black, and is killed by a white, it’s a hate crime.

Since nobody cares about black on black murder, it’s not about life or protecting life. Therefore it’s all about racial politics, and the people promoting racial politics (for power and money – I’m looking at you and your like Al Sharpton) don’t care about human life.

I wonder if this is what Gun Control is all about, promoting murder (and profiting thereby) by disarming the vulnerable. And when a white kills a black you get double the value.

          • noname says:

Who know where you live, certainly not in the U.S.A!

You really think civilians can murder and no one cares?

          • Ah_Yea says:

            Hey Noname!

How many times in the last year did a black killing a white made it to ABC, NBC, or CBS?

Now name me how many times a white killing a black made it to ABC, NBC, or CBS in the last year.

Why don’t we have a body count on the TV for each week a black kills anyone else in Chicago?

Stop being a stupid shrill, if your liberal brain damaged mind will allow.

          • noname says:

Ah_Yea what a dumb ass and just too dumb to answer its own question.

Is one too many or killing five million Jews not enough for you?

          • Hmeyers says:

Why dig up 60 year old stuff?

The Boston Bomber, if it were not more advantageous to treat him as a terrorist, would have been charged with a hate crime.

The African American shooter in Virginia who killed 2 reporters on camera would have been charged with a hate crime, had he not killed himself.

The idea that hate crime charges aren’t levelled in cases where the victims are causcasian is absurd.

10 crimes in Washington, D.C in 2014 were “hate crimes” against causcasians by African Americans, as an example.

        • Hmeyers says:

Why are these guys worried about murders and violent people?

Why do they think only white people get charged with hate crimes?

New flash: minorities get charged with hate crimes. A lot. About 40%

          • noname says:

Hmeyers, it’s blatantly obvious these finger pointing dummkopfs are just trying to cover and distract from their own hate culpability!

They know, they too are just as guilty and only succeeding in exposing their hate crime propensity if not commission!

          • Hmeyers says:

            I don’t believe that actually.

I think the media brainwashes people into poorly considered opinions on the far side of issues.

Because some simpleton on the radio or on CNN says something doesn’t make it true.

          • ± says:

Well I see there are plenty here who actually accept the invented concept of “hate crime” as legitimate. If you are one of them, then you’ve shown yourself to belong to the sheeple.

          • Hmeyers says:

            Actually, you are the sheeple.

Someone else in the media gave you your opinion, perhaps a radio personality.

            And you accepted it.

            I once held your view.

Perhaps whatever guy on the radio who gave your opinion only provided you information that supports his view, and withheld or was not interested in information that did not support his view.

Therefore, you are being a “liberal” and believing what someone in the media told you to think.

          • NewFormatSux says:

Yes, prosecutors will charge whatever they can as leverage in plea bargains. That doesn’t make it right.

          • noname says:

NewFormatSux, just who gave these prosecutors their leverage, the murderer!

Wow, and your expressed concern is criminal intent doesn’t matter?

You seem way more comfortable with Russian, ISIS or Chinese style justice!

      • NewFormatSux says:

That was a complaint from some employees after CAP invited Netanyahu to speak, to the approval of many including some senior leadership.

  11. Lorne says:

That these activists have been able to prevail, even in the face of frequently harsh national publicity highlighting the blunt illiberalism of their methods, confirms that these incidents reflect something deeper than a series of one-off episodes. They are carrying out the ideals of a movement that regards the delegitimization of dissent as a first-order goal. People on the left need to stop evading the question of political correctness — by laughing it off as college goofs, or interrogating the motives of p.c. critics, or ignoring it — and make a decision on whether they agree with it.

  12. bobbo, we think with words, and flower with ideas says:

Hmmmmm……I can see I don’t know the subject well enough. There is FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM of speech in the USA. There are Hate Speech…..policies?…put out by non-gubmental entities most of which have not been challenged in court? I am very saddened that evidently UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES are not the Ivory Towers of free speech and free thinking that they were in my day. And even then….Angela Davis could talk at my school because we were a commuter school and no student groups were around to protest as they did at Berkeley and SF. Funny we had more free speech in the conservative and religion valley than they had in the hot beds of student movements?

Well….hate speech or other….seems to me the same rules should apply: FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM of speech until it advocates violence when such violence could very well ensue. Non-gubmental entities===can terminate your studies if you choose not to speak in iambic pentameter.

State U’s……are gubment are they not?

Somehow these liberal colleges are where hate crimes are flourishing. It’s almost as if they make them up…

      • Hmeyers says:

I think the civil rights activists in Ferguson and St. Louis got bored with nothing going on.

They need to struggle against something and it was a fun social activity the last couple of years.

So they went looking for something to do.

It’s like Rick Santorum, he ran for President in 2016 and challenged Mitt Romney.

He actually is running this year too! No one wanted him to run and nobody knows he’s running. He needed something to do.

      • bobbo, we think with words, and flower with ideas says:

My impression is that the liberal component of this is fairly widespread…and that the Mizzou outbreak comes out of a long specific history of mismanagement and incompetency of University Management caused by political hacks/cronies being appointed Dean rather than anyone qualified.

I don’t know anyone who would go to the “show me state” and think they wouldn’t see something — even if it was complete and total bullshit (which is about all you ever see in “Mizz-oooh”).

Here we have an example of how extremist’s, left alone to stew in their own insanity, will always result in problems for the rest of us. Liberal colleges and universities like this one are perfect examples. Don’t get me wrong! Many of those right leaning colleges/universities (like certain “Christian” schools) have a degree of insanity just as bad, though it is harder to see since there are a lot less of them.

Point being, upper education is called “upper” since it’s always up someone’s “ass”! And what more perfect place than in a state where the infamous “Missouri Mule” was born.

  16. bobbo, we think with words, and flower with ideas says:

So…….just what is the issue at Missou? The video does not make it clear. This article says it was an unknown person yelling a racial slur, and some unknown shit artist drawing a swastika, resulting in a call for the Dean to step down. I don’t see any connection between the issues here. I assume some long history of something going on? I’ll try to find why the football team went on strike.

    http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/ap-news-guide-university-missouris-issues-35171855

    • NewFormatSux says:

Nope that’s it, plus one more similar incident. Apparently the person whose firing they demanded was the guy who didn’t meet with them, because he had the audacity to have them meet with a Dean. The football team went on strike in racial solidarity.

I suspect the whole thing is being pushed by a larger group(BlackLiveMatter?), with similar incidents happening on other campuses. At Dartmouth, they were going into the library and berating students for not joining their protests.

The Vice President of the Missouri Student’s Association went on the record opposing students’ First Amendment rights of speech and expression, because it’s really just an excuse to “create a hostile environment.”

So, putting that together with P/M’s excellent link: http://saturdaydownsouth.com/mizzou-football/heres-list-demands-mizzous-protesting-athletes-students/

I think what we have here is a group of racists who don’t understand that without the First Amendment, they might still be in chains?

I do believe in a free or near free college education ((for those qualified)) as it benefits the entire society to have an educated populous. But colleges that are little more than High Schools with smoking areas, as too much evidenced here, is not the merit based system I’m thinking of.

Ha, ha…………..silly hoomans. Always upset about something, always trying to take advantage especially if they think they won’t get caught, always thinking they are right and the opposition just doesn’t understand/isn’t listening/or is evil.
