If stocks happen to inflate in price along with all the other price inflation, what’s not to love about owning stocks?
Sometimes I wonder if inflation of stock prices is actually the main point of inflationary federal monetary policy in reality. Those dudes who own lots of stocks, will spend far less on necessities (food, energy, and shelter) as a proportion of income, than the poor people, who will spend a higher proportion of their money on life necessities. Rich dudes sock it away, while poor people eat it. LITERALLY.
John:
How do you do podcast production so efficiently? Please consider writing a slim book.
Example 1: There are university lecturers making really bad lecture recordings of audio and video, for the massively online courses. Example 2: There are software corporations making voice narrations for online help.
It’s potentially long, slow work to manually find problems and fix them in recordings. It mainly does not get done, therefore. Customers and students suffer. There MUST be some ways to a) build in high quality on the first run; b) efficiently and either manually or programmatically FIND and FIX some problems in a second pass. Even I know of a few audio editing techniques but I am just a beginner who helped some of these types of people a little.
Between you and Adam and Andrew, I expect you know a thing or two.
Please tell me the truths about production and post production for achieving high quality audio material at a relatively low human labor cost.
hi john. maybe you and andrew have already noticed. at the end
of the day, if i’m feeling lazy, i might make an appearance at the
local jack-in-the-box, or subway. recently the value menu items
have increased from $0.99 to $1.19, while the $5.00 foot-long
has increased to $5.50. i always enjoy some small-talk with the
employees, who are typically young mexicans, or somalians. i
like to sneak in a political remark here and there, just to see if
they are receptive, or have any comment (nothing too heavy).
some are open, and others avoid it like the plague. inflation is
real, and it will be interesting to see just how much of a hike it
will take before the public starts to feel the pinch. maybe it will
mean time in the kitchen, and learning to cook on the cheap.
