Completely reusable rockets, bigger than Saturn 5. 150 tons to surface of mars. And it can be used for Earth transport to go anywhere on the planet in under an hour.

    Let’s see …
Does this mean Musk intends to compete head to head with NASA’s SLS? (Space Launch System)
    http://www.nasa.gov/sls/multimedia/gallery/sls-infographic3.html

Biting the hand that feeds you??

    • Marc Perkel says:

Well, yes. NASA shouldn’t make rockets. NASA should use Elon’s rockets to launch satellites. The SLS is a waste of money.

  2. MikeN says:

Why didn’t anyone make a citizen’s arrest of Felon Musk?

    • MikeN says:

Marc, don’t you think Elon should be facing SEC inquiry over his statements to investors? He said 1800 cars in September in late August, after he knew the August numbers. He produced 300 cars. He has gone from saying he would increase assembly line speed at his factory from 5cm/second to 1 m/second (5 million cars per year per line!) to producing 2.5mm/second. He became the most valuable car company in the world in the process and is selling shares based on these lies(which you didn’t fall for).

  3. MikeN says:

When will Felon Musk pay back the money he stole from your state?

    • Ah_Yea says:

      I got Musk figured out.

He’s not going to jail because he’s playing a very special game.

The game is funneling taxpayer money from the taxpayer into a congressman’s district, just like military bases, highways, and literally hundreds of other programs.

That’s his game. Take government money from one pocket and put it in another, skimming a bit off the top.

It doesn’t matter if it is rockets, hyper-tubes, or zero-emission cars, if the government is willing to pay, he’s willing to build.

It’s like how McDonald’s isn’t in the food business. They’re in the real estate business masquerading as fast food.

He’s got more congressmen in his pocket than George Soros.

      • MikeN says:

No, McDonald’s is in the fast food business. There was one executive that tried to convince them they should focus on selling toys in the Happy Meals.

We know this is true from the damage they’ve taken over the last decade since they eliminated the Super Size and tried to become healthier. I predict things will improve for them with their any size soda for $1.

        • Ah_Yea says:

Nope, dead wrong. You don’t understand business, specially how McDonald’s works.
“Former McDonald’s CFO, Harry J. Sonneborn, is even quoted as saying, “we are not technically in the food business. We are in the real estate business. The only reason we sell fifteen-cent hamburgers is because they are the greatest producer of revenue, from which our tenants can pay us our rent.””

          http://blog.wallstreetsurvivor.com/2015/10/08/mcdonalds-beyond-the-burger/

Anyways, looks like you missed the point completely about Musk’s business plan.

          • MikeN says:

I get how McDonalds works, and their claim to being in the real estate business. The real estate claim is because they collect rent, from McDonalds franchises, which are in the fast food business. If those fast food sales stop, that real estate business goes under.

          • Ah_Yea says:

Still having a time comprehending business? Apparently so.

If you cannot pay your mortgage, the bank takes your home.

Then what? They RESELL YOUR HOME and usually make more money on the repossession than on you making your payments. (and if you don’t know this then you’re REALLY naive)

If the store fails, they RESELL the property, usually at vastly market inflated prices. BTW McDonald’s properties are prime real estate.

So how is it McDonald’s looses?? They either collect rent or resell the property at inflated prices. Win-win.

Also looks like you are still missing the point completely about Musk’s business plan.

          • MikeN says:

Perhaps I am not looking at the big picture, but I don’t associate McDonalds with Prime Real Estate.

          • Ah_Yea says:

Exactly, and that’s the beauty of McDonald’s business. They want you to see them as a family friendly burger place, not a real estate empire.

Same with Musk. He want to appear as the Tech Visionary, not the Skim Off The Top Bribe Officials Government Money Shuffler.

He’s never made a profit. How does he stay in business??

          • MikeN says:

He’s a cultmaster. You nailed it. He is three steps ahead of the SEC right now.

      • MikeN says:

If Musk were giving money to Republicans, he would be investigated for firing all the unionizers at Tesla.

  4. MikeN says:

Will be tough for Bobbo to beat that word count in reply…
