I think it’s amazing that our man baby president elect is complaining about a recount in an election where he lost the popular vote by 2 million. After all, he’s the one who was saying that the election was rigged, and I believe him. But it was rigged in his favor.

I have decided I’m not accepting the election result that Trump won. Trump said before the election that he wouldn’t accept the result if Hillary won and he never accepted that Obama won claiming that Obama wasn’t born in America. Trump was helped by Russian hackers and our new first lady will be America’s first Soviet born Communist raised first lady. So the results of the election are meaningless to me. I intend to give Trump all the respect he gave Obama.

I have a hard time believing that women voted for a pu**y grabbing playboy, that Christians voted for someone who referred to his daughter as a “piece of ass”. There comes a point where it’s just too weird to believe and so I don’t. Trump is a dunce and a clown and he’s incompetent. America is in deep deep trouble regardless of what you believe.

  1. bobbo, if you don't KNOW AGW is going to kill your grand kiddies, you've got more basic science to learn says:

“Flag Burning dot org?” /// Ha, ha….Marc… thats a good one. Goes right along with Church of Science.

    1. You are insulting those who died to protect the flag/// your response was excellent.

    2. Tucker then bloviates about he didn’t see you at other issues /// at least he did let you talk in complete ideas. Tucker is no bill Oreilly.

    3. Dying “for” the flag? /// No…they died for freedom. Excellent response.

    4. Advocate burning the flag //// You don’t. Excellent response right on the mark. You do “look away” making you look a bit shifty. That just takes practice….where was your coach?

    5. Burning the flag is offense BUT is free speech: EXACTLY RIGHT ON…. the very reason is should so rarely be done…but legal when done.

    Free speech is offensive speech.

    6. Where do you get the Right? //// A bit wrong there… its a direct application of the First Amendment—so sayeth the Supremes…. and I agree.

    7. Gubment has more power and you are a liberal //// Good comeback…you got that on your website? Obama is the “worst” president ever??? That can’t be true.

Ha, ha….Tucker got rolling on you at the end. You handled it well. He wanted to “call out” a flag burner…and thats not you.

Well done….I’d keep that video for the archives.

    • Hmeyers says:

Bobbo is correct, flag burning is offensive speech.

(Provided it is your flag — If it someone’s elses flags, its a property crime.)

    1) Trump stopped Carrier from moving 2000 jobs to Mexico, announcement tomorrow.

    http://nytimes.com/2016/11/29/business/trump-to-announce-carrier-plant-will-keep-jobs-in-us.html

    2) 1 Temperature drop since June worldwide. No this does NOT mean global warming isn’t a serious possibility, just means that El Nino has had a strong effect in last 2 years.

“Roughly 10 percent of United Technologies’ $56 billion in revenue comes from the federal government; the Pentagon is its single largest customer. Its Pratt & Whitney division, for example, supplies the engines for the Air Force’s most advanced fighters and host of other planes. And with $4 billion in profit last year, the company has the flexibility to find the savings elsewhere.
      …..
Because of those billions in military contracts, along with Carrier’s role selling to consumers and small business, leaning on them was a much easier proposition for Mr. Trump than on manufacturers more broadly.”

////////Yes…..such “bargaining” should have been made of gubment contracting REGULATIONS right from the start. So…score one for Trump…. but its a long game.

El Nino is weather…not climate. And why are you relying on a daily circulation newspaper?

      • Hmeyers says:

Because Google is giving me old spam like usual when I try to scour for science journal articles and the like.

The alarmist/denier spam garbage clogs up searches with irrelevant results, propaganda pages and such.

Makes finding the raw data and reliable sources very difficult. Ticks me off.

        • bobbo, if you don't KNOW AGW is going to kill your grand kiddies, you've got more basic science to learn says:

I don’t know what you mean by “raw data” as if any of us could grok it but most climate articles spring from: https://www.ipcc.ch/index.htm in the main….but also NASA, and other gubment agencies.

Google does quite well in presenting info that is over my head enough….I try to zig and zag between such resources AND the popular press so I can get a better feel about whats the fact of the thing.

My lingering complaint is why the well grounded science reports are not MORE ALARMIST. To that notion….the IPCC reports have an interesting nomenclature about “how sure” they are about what they guess at. Really…. a lot there….beside the basic science that is easy to understand: “Green House Effect.” Kinda tells it all.

          • NewFormatSux says:

Probably because a fair analysis of the numbers shows they have to drop their estimate of global warming by half. Best estimate goes from 3C in the last report to 1.64C in this one, but that is unacceptable for the activists, so instead they left out the best estimate, but changed the range from 2-4.5 to 1.5-4.5
We will see if they lower their estimates some more in the next report, as more up to date aerosol estimates from Otto et al, makes the numbers even lower.
Nic Lewis has been the primary ‘skeptic’ publishing sensitivity estimates and reviewing the ‘consensus’ papers.

    [to bobbo]

I finally looked up what “wingnut” means. http://urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=wingnut

Assuming you mean the first definition, now it is perfectly clear that using the term is another liberal way of name calling when that liberal is unable to respond cogently to something which the liberal doesn’t agree with.

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ha, ha………..only a wingnut could read that definition and come away thinking in is only name calling.

Know what I mean? ((I ask as I don’t think you do. No dictionary for that.))

  5. McCullough says:

So. Would changing the discussion to global warming be considered off topic?

    I ask the forum.

    • bobbo, words have meaning, for the love of God, please buy and use a dictionary says:

      Of course its off topic.

Almost suggests someone with the ability to do so should post some OP?

Just today… lots of places in USA reporting extremely warm temps, 80% of coral reefs dead in Australia due to water temps, sea level keeps going up…. and without drastic hurtful changes RIGHT NOW… society if not our species is going to collapse some time down the road.

but we yammer about flag burning and whether or not a Billionaire businessman appointing Billionaires and Generals to his top offices is a man of the people or not.

      • McCullough says:

If you want to do something about global warming, start at home. Invest in solar. Or find another blog. Bitching about it on this blog is pointless.

        • bobbo, the constitution standing alone is a doorstop. Right or Wrong..without the Supremes constantly singing we would have reverted to an Elected Dictator years ago says:

Well McCullough—just review: “I” did not raise the AGW issue. Others have interest and asked me questions…and I responded.

Shows there is an “interest” in the subject.

……or you can quibble about nom de flames.

ha, ha……..are you happy McCullough? You seem to have a burr under your saddle…been festering for awhile.

Life is too short for that……. enjoy, while you can.

What is the point of this blog/forum except to mindlessly bitch?

    • NewFormatSux says:

Yes, though HMeyers cleverly did it in an on-topic way.

      • Hmeyers says:

Yes — why is everyone trying to blame Bobbo?

Sure he does 4-page paragraphs which can be annoying, but I’m the “bad guy” here. Not Bobbo.

      • Hmeyers says:

I’m just ranting a bit at this point, mostly because I do enjoy discussing shared topics of interest with Bobbo.

But this blog is “Dvorak Uncensored”.

Even though there is no Dvorak, it really doesn’t hurt to keep to the “Uncensored” part?

I guess the short version goes like this: Bobbo has been here a long time … let’s be happy campers and embrace the true diversity of thought that makes America a nice place.

Maybe he likes discussing global warming more than others, big fucking deal … freedom of thought?

Or are we now doing safe spaces?

Because I fucking hate those, and so does Bobbo. So yeah, me, Bobbo and 1988 Michael Dukakis!

All the editors are people that all of us appreciate, maybe on January 1st we can all celebrate the New Year with the idea that we might all have different and offensive opinions, but Ben Franklin thought that was worth something.

/End Braveheart speech. Mostly because I don’t have any more beer left.

        • McCullough says:

Relax, no one is going to be banned. We have only banned one person in 10 years, and that was unavoidable.

We all have a love/hate relationship with bobbo.

          And I appreciate your feedback.

        • NewFormatSux says:

Uncensored means Dvorak will be uncensored, not the commenters.

        • bobbo, we think with words and flower with ideas says:

I don’t “love” discussing AGW….I just recognize it as “the most important issue facing mankind” and its being denied. ha, ha…given the prisoner’s dilemma and the tragedy of the commons and a near inability to assess risk AND its all science based…. actually rather hard to see how it could be any other way.

I just bought Black Friday LED Bulbs… not to save the environment, but because they have become cost effective.

But……given the constant complaining against me, most of which I think is mostly just mindless bitching as having seen their best arguments, if any were made, turned aside… I have decided to back off on the insults. I do love a good insult and find great satisfaction in their giving and receiving…. but evidently, too few others do. I think it is part of a skill set to seperate the chaff from the wheat and look to the “ideas” contained in argument.

But anyway… I’ve never enjoyed being No 2… So…insults now only for those who take umbrage in being challenged to think…. and there are enough exceptions to that here for continued enjoyment.

We all do enjoy it here?………..right???

I feel another insult coming on………………….

          • NewFormatSux says:

LEDs, a reason why CFLs should never had been mandated. Now we have to wait for those bulbs to be burned out to lower energy use, and then deal with all the mercury in the landfills.

          • Hmeyers says:

I feel personal attacks generally are the wrong thing to do.

But sometimes some anonymous mystery commenter with bad taste and the mental acumen of a dullard responds to me.

Usually people like that somehow need to be critiqued and then insulted in a humiliating way.

            Go figure.

I guess when dealing with a caveman, takes a bit of caveman to communicate with him.

Probably because in nature the weakest minds are more sensitive to social pressure and how they are perceived …

in the real world, the less smart are very dependent on others for their survival and have a strong need to be social liked because that’s part of their safety net.

            But I keep it rare.

          • bobbo, we think with words and flower with ideas says:

I disagree…. in context. In Context…THIS FORUM: we don’t know each other well enough for any verbal exchange to be “personal.”

Now, violating that statement immediately, HM–you should be sensitive to claims of “personal” injury. Its the very basis for “safe zones.”

Name calling, is name calling. Personal attack requires something personal and an attack. Hard to do with webatubes being so narrow. Perhaps when I get my Virtual Reality system up and running?

  6. Cgp says:

Perkel, please explain why you have discounted the possibility that there is wide spread illegal voter fraud? All the voter proof of legality lameness indicates it is a wide spread democrat corruption of our democracy.
