Obama Encourages Illegal Aliens to Vote on Live TV

I feel like I’m living in bizzaro world.

  1. David Jung says:

What I said on FB after watching this: “Kinda of confusing question, but Obama clearly said that you are voting ‘as a citizen’.”

    • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

Exactly so. Very muddled and the video starts mid sentence…but “sounds like” what has McCullough’s panties in a bunch is what “she said” but not at all what Obama said.

Right Wing Nuts are like that….. swallowing any BS that is put out there for them.

      • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

The left panders too. Most recent really stupid example: That Trump said he would wait and see regarding whether or not to accept election results. Of course he should…… just like everyone else does.

        Stupid is stupid.

You know what is STOOPID?====>being a kneejerk, easily led, partisan sheep.

Sucks to be “of that type.” THINK FOR YOURSELF. I know: a stretch goal….but start practicing now. Could come in handy.

        • ± says:

[re: bobbo railing about ‘thinking for yourself’ and ‘not being a partisan sheep’]

You have no shame/scruples/memory?. Are you the biggest hypocrite in here? Just in the last 30 days, there are literally MANY of your posts where the raison d’être of the words you typed is your unthinking partisanship.

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

P/m==you crack me up. Please copy and paste what I posted with you analysis of what you think constitutes partisanship.

the grins of it all is that whatever you post “with validity” will be absorbed and made part of the collective.

I ENJOY BEING SHOW TO BE WRONG.===> Its how I change my mind and become: better. Spend a lifetime doing that….and its hard to be bested. But I’m always open to it. ALWAYS…. OPEN to being improved.

            Try it.

          • NewFormatSux says:

No he’s not a hypocrite, just forgetful.

          • Ah_Yea says:

            alzheimer’s

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

Not a single example provided of my partisan statements.

            How does that happen boys?

………………………………….. its almost like you can’t support anything you say, and what you say is a lie.

Know what I mean????….but I doubt that you do.

Keep trying. You all have ZERO credibility until you post an example…..and thats not to say they aren’t out there….just not many and them that are probably have 5 to one statements a bit more nuanced.

Partisanship is more a Republican thing: takes less thinking.

          • ± says:

            [to bobbo]
I tried twice to post your most recent (at the time) partisan bullshit, but both attempts were quarantined awaiting moderator approval for reasons which I can not guess. I’m not trying again since you’ve since provided at least one other example in the thread above this one. You’re so partisan, that you are blind to being partisan.

      • ± says:

The very subject of the post is that Obama encourages illegal aliens to vote. You can’t handle this simple truth so you deflect and say the post is about what “she said”. You are sad almost beyond words.

If the intent of Obama’s words are not to encourage illegal aliens to vote, what do you say the intent of his words are?

I am here to help you look as stupid as you want to look.

        • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

The very subject of the post is that Obama encourages illegal aliens to vote. //// No…he is encouraging wimen who are legal to vote to go ahead and vote and not be afraid that the illegals in their family will be found out. I don’t thin that is ‘fairly” disputable.

You can’t handle this simple truth so you deflect and say the post is about what “she said”. You are sad almost beyond words. //// Well…. she said…. and then He said. Pretty straight forward……. unless you are twisted.

If the intent of Obama’s words are not to encourage illegal aliens to vote, what do you say the intent of his words are? //// As stated, as Oboma stated: to encourage LEGALS to vote, even if they have illegals (PARENTS) in their household.

I am here to help you look as stupid as you want to look. //// Ha, ha: wishful thinking.

          • ± says:

McCullough, the commentator and any honest English speaker all arrive at the same conclusion; that Obama by his words is encouraging illegals to vote.

You lie or are too dense to arrive at the same conclusion. Either way, good job at looking idiotic.

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

PM–I listened again. Obama is plainly encouraging “people who are registered to vote” to vote. He is assuming as I have that if you are registered to vote that you are a citizen.

Perhaps we should forward this thread to Whitehouse dot gov so Obama can also learn about the motor voter glitch?

I think you are right though that Obamas statement will encourage more illegals to vote…assuming their language skills are no better than yours.

          • NewFormatSux says:

They are aware of the ‘glitch’ and actively go to court against states that try to verify citizenship.

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

NFS==I doubt that….and I’m anti-Puke by and large. Your link argued regarding the number of such illegal voters with “several thousand” being the consensus number with the variable being the denominator affected.

Not really a serious issue/threat to the sanctity of the ballot box…. gerrymandered as it beforehand.

    • NewFormatSux says:

No, listen to the question. The lady says she calls illegals citizens ‘because they contribute to this country.’

      • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

NoFu*kingSense: she did not ask a question, she made a stoopid statement THAT OBAMA REPHRASED when he gave his answer…..based on an assumption that if you vote, you are qualified to vote….ie: the direct implication of “your right to vote is not transfered to other members of your family.”

These issues do NOT take place in a vacuum: when you vote…your name/qualification to do so is “on the rolls” that are checked before you vote.

The notion that illegals can just waltz into a polling place and vote is Right Wing STOOPIDITY. It would be SHOCKING you are so stupid and easily led,…………… if it didn’t happen all the time.

        • NewFormatSux says:

You declare that she did not ask a question, then you say that Obama answered.
She did ask a question, pretty clearly.

You also are not aware of how many non-citizens do vote. Same day registration, combined with Motor Voter law, and the only check is that you declare you are a citizen.

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

Ok……..she made a statement then she asked a question. Obama recharacterized her statement AND her question: “when you vote, you are a citizen” MEANING AS STATED that there are voter rolls that prevent non-citizens/non qualified to voter people from voting.

Ha, ha………Ok……….how many “non-citizens” vote? You have no response because all you have is mind killing BS.

Prove me wrong with a link. —- it more than fair to conclude with: “Idiot.”

          • NewFormatSux says:

Study done in 2009 estimated 6% of non-citizens vote.

          • NewFormatSux says:

The voter rolls do not prevent this, because frequently the only check is when you check the box that says you are a citizen. No one actually checks to see if you are eligible, which would require checking if you are a citizen instead of just eligible for a driver’s license(which lots of states are giving out to illegal immigrants as well). Have you never heard of Motor Voter law?

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

            Link?

……………because, you know, the RightWingNut constituency believes a lot of BS lies.

Having actual authority to back up what you “think” would wipe out 90% of what you blather on about.

            Try it.

          • Tim says:

From the Washington Post pal. I wont provide a link, get off your ass and go look for it.

“How many non-citizens participate in U.S. elections? More than 14 percent of non-citizens in both the 2008 and 2010 samples indicated that they were registered to vote. Furthermore, some of these non-citizens voted. ”

            Estimated Voter Turnout by Non-Citizens
            2008 2010
            Self reported and/or verified 38 (11.3%) 13 (3.5%)
            Self reported and verified 5 (1.5%) N.A.
            Adjusted estimate 21 (6.4%) 8 (2.2%)

            The number should be ZERO.

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

From the Washington Post. I wont provide a link, get off your ass and go look for it: “Tim is a useful idiot who believes whatever is written that agrees with his preconception. He doesn’t post links because he doesn’t have them but he places the burden to prove what he says is false on anyone who disagrees. A masterstroke….. if you are 12 years old.”

            Idiot.

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

Maybe because I’m drunk on beer and White Russians and Egg Nog: but an article from 2014 hardly seems relative. Am I wrong????????????????????????

Reconfirm and I’ll go back and read it…but otherwise…….. can we be relevant?====> you know……… to “today?”

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

            Well……I’m wrong. ……… Ha, ha!!!

Just woke up from my little nap and as sleep does the White Russian has worn off.

Thank you NFS, your link is right on target and informative. So…. the illegals ARE registered to vote but the glitch is automatic registration off the Drivers License. ……… Amusing. Good intentions gone wrong….when is such not the case? ((When BAD intentions achieve their goals is one obvious answer.))

Rather than purge the voter rolls of anyone with a common spanish surname, the Republicans should go after the drawbacks in motor registration? Probably a no-go as it would not disenfranchise enough demoncrats?

Damn me. I do prefer being drunk…just don’t have the metabolism to support it. …….. but I dither.

    • NewFormatSux says:

If Obama were just talking about citizens voting, he wouldn’t need to go into detail about how immigration authorities don’t access the voting databases.

      • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

More nonsense. The chick was worried about being checked by immigration. It only makes sense to reassure her that would not happen.

Its the EXACT SAME BASIS on which Pukes try to intimidate minority voters.

        Wise up.

        • Get Real says:

          No. You wise up pal.

          Obama is a political greaseball.

        • NewFormatSux says:

Why is she worried about being checked if she is a citizen? With you it’s hard to tell if this is willful ignorance or just general stupidity.

          She calls illegal immigrants citizens.
Then she asks If I vote will immigration come after me or my family?

To you this means something else because Obama responded that the government assumes you are a citizen when voting.

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

“If I vote……..will they come for my family.”

I agree: Vague. Rub two brain cells together and figure out what Obama told her.

          • NewFormatSux says:

See you are interpreting it as ‘Only citizens can vote.’ But Obama is answering in a way that is encouraging people to vote.
What he means is ‘The government will assume you are a citizen when you vote,’ and then explains how the government will not check anything. The alternative would mean he is too dumb to understand the question, which is not likely since he knows dreamers are not citizens, after he went to all the trouble of giving them special executive orders.
Also, since you now understand the question, we can assume that Obama understood it.

          • NewFormatSux says:

Or maybe you think she is asking about legals whose family is illegal. Then she wouldn’t need to say ‘deport us’ instead of ‘deport them’.

          • bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

I agree…… but no link: no credibility.

Yes….. lots of people (am I too sexist to think its mostly wimen?) over identify themselves with their family. I see nothing disjointed here.

Obama could have been much more discriminating…pros and cons to all we do. He OBVIOUSLY wanted to encourage citizens to vote…including those with illegals in their households.

Ambiguity. Those with an agenda will push it in the direction they wish.

            I just call them Hacks.

  2. bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

It ALWAYS cracks me up….take an issue of the moment and google it, and you find the issue is more nuanced than what you thought: (how many non citizens vote) and as a starting point, I think Wiki does a good job: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_of_foreigners_to_vote_in_the_United_States

Who knew?…………and who can be surprised that “non-citizens” vote?

    Have at it partisans.

  3. ECA says:

    Undocumented Citizen??
There is no wording of ILLEGAL..

Understand something…that MANY older people, DID NOT HAVE documents showing they were BORN in the USA..
Backing up DOCUMENTS was NOT a big thing BEFORE the 1970’s..
1 building in a STATE could burn down, and you would loose ALL the Birth records for the last 50+ years..

SOME biorth records were NOT given to the States, and were held in Counties or even CHURCH RECORDS ONLY…

Social; security cards USED TO BE, given after you went to WORK.. 16-18.. NOW they are given at BIRTH..

AND if nothing ELSE…How can you BE undocumented??
How would HOME SCHOOLING, affect that??
as my STATE took a 30+ year old picture from my YEAR BOOK, as Documentation..

    AND STILL….
Many states have problems MATCHING up Birth and death records..

  4. NewFormatSux says:

Who here knows of the Jesse Helms ‘hands’ ad that made liberals go crazy?

    Well there’s a new one.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5no64C8om3A

  5. Mr Diesel - says:

Nice discussion but I think someone missed the point. Your vote might be secret inside those little foldup voting machines but the fact that your illegal ass showed up isn’t.

They are actively investigating voter fraud in my and many states and I hope they catch and prosecute every last fraudulent voter. If they are illegal they can stay in the US. How about expanding Leavenworth prison to hold them all.

As for Obomba, at this point who really gives a shit what he says…

  6. Hmeyers says:

    Bigger WTF:

    “Comey Clears Hillary”

What are these Inspector Clouseau’s doing?

Took them 15 months of investigation before they even talked to Hillary.

We know from experience they can’t figure out anything in a month, let alone go through 650,000 emails.

Comey is probably very scared of what would happen to him if Hillary were elected.

    • Mr Diesel - says:

Hope he has a last will and testament based on all of the people that seem to die around the Clintons.

      • Hmeyers says:

        It’s a clown show.

        They discovered these 650,000 emails.

There have only been 770,000 seconds since the Comey announcement that they were re-opening the investigation.

When they found a batch of 30,000 emails, they said it would take 6 months to review around a year ago.

  7. Uncle Juan says:

It’s really pretty simple. If you are a CITIZEN then you get to vote — PERIOD!

So the QUESTION isn’t about illegal immigration. It’s really about who is or isn’t a U.S. Citizen.

Therefore, if you can PROVE you were born in America then you’re a U.S. citizen. If you immigrated to America and passed all the stupid little immigration tests, you’re a citizen (and can PROVE it). But if you hopped over the border or were born somewhere else without LEGALLY passing through the United Stated immigration system, you’re NOT a citizen — and can NOT vote! (And if you even TRY to vote, you’re committing a FELONY!)

But, who the hell cares? It’s not like DEAD CITIZENS don’t vote. It’s not like there isn’t fraud and corruption every goddamn time we have an election. (Psst! it’s one of the reasons most candidates are often trained LAWYERS!) And it’s not like Barack Obama was never known as the Indonesian national, Barry Soetoro.

Quite frankly, if you DON’T vote then you have more of a right to bitch and complain. Because if you voted and got it wrong then you actually CONTRIBUTED to the fuck up! So do America a solid — DON’T VOTE! (It’s not like it counts or anything.)

  8. NewFormatSux says:

That guy who showed up at a Trump rally, and claimed to be a ‘Republican against Trump’ was a Hillary operative, whose dead grandmother voted 6 times, and he tried to cast a vote for his brother too who lives in California. He shows up 6 times in Wikileaks.

  9. Phydeau says:

You really think Fox is going to present a video with all the context, or will it tweak it to look as bad as possible for Obama?

    Duh, let me think a moment… 🙄

    • Phydeau says:

Mr Anderson, you’re obviously new around here. You just spoiled a big ol’ circle jerk by the wingnuts here, by introducing facts and reality. Spoilsport.

    • Phydeau says:

Not to mention, you have to remove the www from all the URLs to get them to render properly.
