1. Ah_Yea says:

Get a higher education, be prepared for real life!

    Or not.

  2. Thom says:

I can’t wait to pay more in taxes to give these idiots a free college education.

So they can spit in my face.

    • Might Mouse says:

That’s the spirit! Do good and turn the other cheek. Kudos to you. At least you’ll get a ROI.

  3. Geoworker says:

The very first anti-war protest was at Berkeley – and it was against the US entering WWI. Guess times haven’t changed.

  4. spsffan says:

    1. That’s racist.
    2. At my alma mater (UCLA) they would have had the campus cops, if not LAPD disbursing the protesters toute suite.

  5. bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

What is a “safe space?” Do they mean free meeting rooms?…. or what???

  6. Hendricks says:

Its a place on campus where they can segregate themselves from evil white people…primarily used to stifle free speech and differing political views. Entire dormitories and halls are being set aside for this new form of racism and exclusion.

College is supposed to prepare students for the real world, it does just the opposite.

  7. bobbo, the pragmatic existential evangelical anti-theist says:

When I saw the header I immediately thought: If I were 17 again…what kind of additional education would I want to get? Its a stumper for me. I’m not attracted to computer programming and everything else I can think of is on its way out.

I guess I’d major in massage and become an International Escort? Ha, HA. Saw a show about such a guy a few nights ago. Most of his clients were other DUDES.

I’ll have to keep looking. Actually I think home flipping, renovation, renting, management would be a serious opportunity. Wholly different from what I did. maybe just wishful thinking????

Free speech in a vacuum????—Not like Free Speech via contested and informed debate. You can be a vegetable….or actively engage the world. Just like always.

    Silly Hoomans.

  8. Spanky says:

This is what happens when we give participation trophy’s and other meaningless awards to LOSERS!

Seriously! Smack the crap out of your kid if he/she gets mouthy or disrespectful. Just don’t break any bones or do any permanent damage to their physical well being. But DO smack them.

… Or let me do it. Because sooner or later, someone like me will do a little more than just spank their little ass when they have a temper-tantrum. (Pssst! It’s all part of that evil plan called “life” and what happens when you fail to THINK about consequences.)

  9. jpfitz says:

Part of college is learning that people are different from the small towns that they grew up in. Now it’s supposed to be the time in students life to really start to grow, not form cliques all over again like in high school.

All I can say is these children are lucky they didn’t go to Kent state back in the 60’s.

    • Caddyshack World says:

Children indeed. Many have been spoiled and sheltered since babyhood.

They now expect college to operate like Dad’s country club, … and they don’t want any Rodney Dangerfield types on their exclusive premises.

  10. James says:

Of course, if all of this energy and time were used to fill out job applications, they might be able to chip away at the student loan debt that they all have. Nah…they’ll just spend more time and energy in the future protesting for debt forgiveness…losers
