Now that Ted Cruz is running for president Americans needs to ask ourselves if it is ready for a Canadian born commander in chief. I for one am calling for Ted Cruz to release his birth certificate and to explain why he waited till 2013 to renounce his Canadian citizenship. And he hasn’t yet renounced his Cuban citizenship. We Americans need to understand how it is that he even qualifies to run for president as someone who has only been exclusively an American citizen for only 2 years.

It was stupid when they did it to Obama, and it’s stupid now. Welcome to the festival of idiots that is the election process.

  2. p benjamin says:

The whole birth certificate thing came up because John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone. So like Cruz McCain wasn’t truly born in the USA. They kicked up all the dirt to misdirect the rubes about McCain’s birth.

It doesn’t matter when s/he is born, a clown will always be a clown.

  4. admfubar says:

someone put his campaign on “cruz” control…
Ted Cruz – The Twilight Zone Party

  5. noname says:

Some Repukes are now saying “it’s stupid what they did to Obama” only because their obvious lie didn’t wash with Americans. Repuke frivolous ideology and politics still require them to worship party ideologue like Cruz regardless of truths!

Cruz can’t delay, deny and obfuscate obvious truths! Repuke dirty hypocrisy runs deeper then Watergates’s deep throat as Trump hedges his birther views for Canadian-born Ted Cruz.

For Repukes being a foreign born Prez is acceptable if; a.) it’s true, b.) if your white and c.) your a Repuke!!!

    • Derek says:

Swing and a miss. Not a repuke. Nice partisan dick riding though.

      • noname says:

Without even naming grandpa, what obvious guilt you have … wow, over the fence guilt!

        • Idiology Observer says:

So your party’s poop doesn’t stink, eh?

          LOL.

          • noname says:

Who said anything about my party, or what my party is?

“Idiology Observer”, why don’t you first open your eyes, correctly spell your name then open your cake hole!

            **”Ideology Observer” or “Idiotology Observer”

“Idiology Observer” just another plain vanilla lemming!

    • NewFormatSux says:

Obama’s the guy who claimed to be born in Kenya when he had a book to sell. It was Hillary that first introduced the idea.

The later lie told by Obama is that his parents came together because they believed in the American Dream, when the reality is that Pres Obama at 2 weeks old was no longer in Hawaii but in Seattle. Obama Senior’s friends had no idea he even had a baby or who Ann Dunham was.
The “My father left when I was 2” is a lie.

      • noname says:

Trump’s and your conspiracy theories about the state of Hawaii falsifying Obama’s birth certificate are certainly entertaining!

If you believe article two of the U.S. Constitution, eligibility for holding the office of President and Vice-President requires the person must be a natural born citizen. Cruz is not a natural born U.S.A. citizen.

Why does the Truth always hurts Repukes!

        • NewFormatSux says:

Who said anything about falsifying a birth certificate? The fact is after Obama was born, his mom left with the newborn for Seattle, probably within a week.

          • noname says:

Is that your relevant point, what his mommy did when he was a infant?

Why so weak and lame … and why you so hung up the irrelevant?

            Did you mommy drop you?

          • NewFormatSux says:

Not what his mommy did when he was little, but that he lied about it when he was running for President, creating a false biography for his campaign. Probably what’s behind the fake birth certificate brouhaha. Get everyone focused elsewhere. Like George W getting people thinking about his being AWOL and following that story and his drug use.

          • noname says:

Wow, why are Repukes almost always so irrational nowadays??

Repukes are clueless why Americans don’t vote for their petty and illogical fallacies.

Repukes are so branded as stupid people with obviously insane ideas!!

For a moment, I thought you had posted the nude pics of Obama’s mom that the card carrying Communist took and sold without her permission.

  7. Better READ than BLEW says:

Hypocrisy from the left strikes again!

The question was asked: Is America ready for a Canadian born President? I say YES! WHY THE FUCK NOT?!!! We already have an INDONESIAN BORN ONE! Or don’t you think THOSE records are worth examining?

And considering how Canada is more like America than anything from the pacific rim, it would probably be an IMPROVEMENT!

Though I do admit I don’t like some of Cruz’s narrow-minded pin-head comments and probably wouldn’t vote for him. But if it’s a choice between him and that even worse idiot calling herself Hillary, it’s not that hard for me to say HE get’s the job for one very glaring reason — HE TRIES HARDER! (Let alone the fact that he’s clearly more intelligent — which isn’t really saying too much when it’s a terrible choice between fools like that.)

  8. spsffan says:

Funny thing, but if you look at the technical way they construe the rules, Cruz is probably fine. Not that the founding father’s had this in mind, but I don’t think they had birth certificates in the eighteenth century anyway.

As far as I’m concerned, the founding father’s meaning, is that the actual birth of the person occurred within the territorial United States. Hawaii, okay. Canal Zone, at the tie of McCain’s birth, okay. Canada, nyet.

Anyway, Cruz making it official is the best news that Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton could hope for this early in the race.

  9. LibertyLover says:

He’s eligible. His mother is American, just like Obama, just like McCain.

    Arnie is not, however.

    • spsffan says:

      Har.

But as far as it goes, to me, “native born American” doesn’t matter where your mother or father is from. It means you were dropped out of the birth cannal on American soil.

Just like the “anchor babies” that Fox News and so forth gets so excited about.

But understand that in 1787, a goodly number of folks born here were slaves. And then there were women. So, the entire concept was confused from day one.

  10. LibertyLover says:

I”m looking forward to the first time a replicant, born from a pressure cooker in Kansas, wants to be president….

    • spsffan says:

      Here here!

Meanwhile, with some luck, someone actually intelligent, interesting and worthwhile might come into the limelight.

But I’m not holding my breath. Actually, Jeb Bush might not be so terrible, execpt that I would not, could not vote for him, casue I know who his daddy and brother are.

  11. Dave Phillips says:

Ted Cruz is out to launch.

  12. NewFormatSux says:

I thought liberals were only opposed to Texas presidents?

  13. McCullough says:

    No

  14. NewFormatSux says:

Ted Cruz is doing the job Americans won’t do, sescure the border.

  15. mojo says:

    Seriously?

  16. Cap'n Kangaroo says:

Born in Canada, fine. But another f#@king Harvard educated lawyer, NO NO and again NO.

  17. mojo says:

“fourteen years continuous residency” is a requirement. Up in 2013, I’d imagine.
