Cool!
Very cool ! Just in time to celebrate the new marijuana laws too!
Saw this T-Rex design on National Geographic channel’s Brain Games program.
Even knowing what the illusion is, I can’t make it look like it really is — as soon as the back of the thing disappears, the illusion is back.
Our brains evolved to see the world as it (usually) is. Nothing in nature is constructed the way that T-Rex Head is. Thats why there is so much masking tape.
Fun to see how our brains work in such a clear demonstrable way. Of further interest–how our brain fools us in ways much more subtle.
Reality is real. Our understanding of it is a construct.
Your dirty talk during sex must be masterful.
Well, you have caught me out. With your nudge, a vagina is as close to the negative angles as exist with the T-Rex head as nature might present. Both will follow you as you move around the room too.
……..but I dither.
Interesting, wasn’t is Einstein who said “all things are relative, relatives are all things, all my relatives took all my things.” of course I could be mistaken, it’s a matter of perspective.
Biocentrism
After the death of his old friend, Albert Einstein said “Now Besso has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me.
That means nothing. People like us … know that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.”
New evidence continues to suggest that Einstein was right, death is an illusion.
Is Death an Illusion?
I’ve had one for years. Very cool, indeed.
Here’s a link to the pattern (with ears):
http://grand-illusions.com/images/articles/opticalillusions/dragon_illusion/dragon.pdf
Guess you need the “www.” part. I thought you had to leave that out? Oh we’ll:
http://www.grand-illusions.com/images/articles/opticalillusions/dragon_illusion/dragon.pdf
You need to leave out the www to make a link clickable here on the blog. The link doesn’t work without it, however, because it’s on one of those now-rare domains that require it.
Something similar of a cat would probably keep pigeons off my lawn.
Sort of like the illusion of the nutball in the WH. No matter which way we look we are all screwed.
Mr. Diesel, I’ve been wondering; what is your compression ratio?
Depends on the engine.
A little cardboard + some tape + some creativity = 5,000,000 views on YouTube.
I bet there are a lot of people who spend a lot of money to make videos on YouTube who wish they would have thought the same.
Smart.
