Research is wonderful and useful. Lack of legislation (with roots in the Constitution) limiting Government from abusing it is lacking.
Shit, that thing is accident prone. It looks like childhood-Monk with helment, goggles, knee, and elbow pads to get on the school bus — A nice plausible-deniability construct when it is given a gun and starts playing billiard ballistic pinball every other step like a real cop.
Anyways, that motor is a piece of crap — just throw sand at it. If they do beef it up or go batteries, then just use the ’76 cherokee all-wheel drive to ram the thing into a barbed wire fence and don’t forget to blow the horn just for good measure.
Miniature rotary engines used as electrical generators in drones would power that. Or a sterling engine, which would be completely silent.
Cheetah is one thing, Atlas is a whole ‘nother beast.
To be honest, Atlas actually scares me!
With all of the heli drones being developed this is definitely out of the box thinking. Not sure if the box is from this century though.
