Since Eric Holder is saying he is having the Feds investigate, he needs to bring up the state attorney and other local officials up on charges for denying Zimmerman’s civil rights. The FBI investigated, and determined that the local police were being pressured into arresting Zimmerman to placate the local black community.
Sorry to bring up the obvious to all you left and right wing conspiracy and racial nuts: the prosecution did a crappy job. Statistically the odds of conviction were difficult and they made it worse by bringing a weak game.
Personally I think the acquittal smells bad and has made Florida less safe. But the prosecution didn’t establish his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. The only good thing to come out of this is that a public court system protected an individual against overreach by the state. That’s the way it’s supposed to work, unlike the Bush/Obama secret courts.
I might not like it, but the alternative is far worse.
And I still think Zimmerman is a pussy.

Zimmerman couldn’t have hunted Martin even if he wanted to. Martin was less than 400 ft away from his house, and out of Zimmerman’s line of sight. Martin would have made it home easily.
Indeed, perhaps he did make it home to drop off some stuff. But his friend on the phone suggested it was a gay rapist, and he decided to deliver a beatdown.
It’s disturbing that a minority, supposedly, group can demand the prosecution of a another minority simply because they are threatening violence. Can anyone imagine what would happen if a individual of European heritage had been the actual shooter, someone that is blond and blue eyed.
Eric the Hitler Holder is still trying to find a civil rights violation that can be charged by Zimmerman, usually only a government official can commit a civil rights violation this is tantamount to saying a civilian is guilty of mutiny during a military conflict for not charging a machine gun nest.
I’m very very happy for the principals of self-defense in the United States of America that Zimmerman was found not guilty of 2nd Degree Murder or Manslaughter. I would point out that in England this would have turned out very differently, in England you don’t have the right to self-defense only the government has that collective right. It was verified during Zimmerman’s murder trial that he called 911 before the bloody confrontation took place. It was also determined that he opened fire with his legally owned firearm only as a last resort when he reasonably believed his life was in danger.
Zimmerman testified that on the morning of the fatal encounter he observed TrayVon and two other youths breaking into a neighbor’s vehicle. Zimmerman says he ordered the suspects to freeze and wait for the arrival of the police.
He insists that he opened fire on TrayVon only when the teen “charged” him and was screaming that he was going to get Zimmerman.
After Zimmerman was acquitted, family members of the deceased child claimed that justice had not been served by the verdict. They shared their belief that their son’s killer had taken it upon himself to act as judge, jury, and executioner.
