1) this marine drew the short straw or in some way is being punished (by his immediates, not Ovomit who thinks that soldier is being honored)
2) Ovomit has insulted the entire Marine Corps but is clueless that he did so

Yup, it’s worthy of impeachment to hold the military in such disrespect. Clinton discussing war policy while getting serviced by Monica should have been enough, but liberals prefer to be enraged by W making a joke about those WMD have gotta be around here somewhere.
It does make you wonder if he did it on purpose so as to add to the IRS thingy noise and the AP wiretap thingy noise so as to detract from the truly egregious Benghazi failing and subsequent coverup lying. If you listen to NPR (the liberal’s official propoganda arm), they are hyping up the AP and IRS thing, but barely say a peep about Benghazi.
It’s also possible by getting the issue off the radar, he can get immigration amnesty passed.
