To unemployment and to stop the Rich driving America over the cliff, it’s important that government pays for Rich people limo drivers!

Picking from the unemployed and to stop the Rich driving America over the cliff, it’s important our government pays for Rich people limo drivers!

  2. Sounds like the debt ceiling collapsed over the fiscal cliff…

When I don’t have as much money I spend less. I assume prudent rich people do the same. So far as I can tell it was already hard to make money and it’s about to get a lot harder. I see no likely hood the economy is going to pick up and several things going on that could and to be fair already should have knocked the bottom out of the economy. We had something like the 15th best situation for someone to try and do business in. I’m thinking we are about to be somewhere below Cuba.

The good news is the destitute can get free medical care an if you aren’t destitute you will pick up the tab and the bad news is free medical care looks like it’s going to mean take a number and wait….

I always say liberals live in a cartoon world. Why; because their understanding of most issues is no more sophisticated than your average cartoon. Thank you for proving my point for me.

  5. Captain Obvious says:

And then there’s Obama, acting like he won the election or something.

    • Mextli says:

Not really, he’s acting like a child that won the election. “I won so do it my way” “I don’t have to compromise with anyone.”

He was re-elected to office not crowned.

  6. LibertyLover says:

I wish people realized that raising taxes on business owners does not take money from said business owners.

It takes money from their customers — the ones wanting the tax increases. Businesses do not pay taxes. Customers do.

When prices go up, expect interest rates to go up. And then we are really going to see some interesting times.

So go ahead. Raise my taxes. You’ll be paying for it so break out that checkbook.

    Morans.

    • noname says:

For your logic to be true, more business taxes means more customer cost, then if the Government gave money to business they would pass it on to customers!

How nice that GE and other companies want to be legal people without any of the responsibilities. How much many has our government spend defending GE assets (ass) here and around the world!

      • LibertyLover says:

Quit changing the subject. We’re talking about raising taxes that will do absolutely nothing positive to the debt or the economy.

This is nothing more than Dr. “Everything will be alright” propaganda that is designed to keep the peasants away from the drawbridge.

Look at the root cause of the problems and you’ll see how to solve them.

Under Pres Clinton Social Security was pulling in surpluses of hundreds of billions of dollars, while now it is a deficit of a hundred billion and growing. So right there, the Clinton surpluses are gone.

    HEY MODERATORS!

I’m all for freedom of speech. But like shouting “fire” in a crowded theater, there are many examples of speech which most people would agree are acceptably subject to censure. I have seen the death of good un-moderated newsgroups because of the free reign of juveniles. It’s time to cull the puerile assholes. It seems like you already warned bobbo and Alfie but WTF about the worst guys, noname and pedro?

It IS true that the best forums are moderated.

  9. MikeN says:

Obama’s tax hike raises about $80 billion dollars a year. When will he come up with the other $920 billion to balance the budget? Or at least the $620 billion to cut the deficit in half? Or the $420 billion to at least cut his own increased first year deficit in half?
