Corp retirement FAILS(corps love bankruptcy) and those that paid LITTLE or nothing to SOcial sec..end up ON SOCIAL SEC. And I suggest you look up the Social sec. restrictions..THEY SUCK.
then we can look at INTERNATIONAL CORPS..who do they PAY tax to? and how much of that money ends up NOT on the USA BOOKS?

In hte last 10 years, corp pay have gone OVER double, and the stock holders?? In the last 15 years, TOP wages have gone up about 10x. Bottom wages STAY’d LOW..
The BASIC problem is that Everyone loves wages GOING UP, but NEVER down.
But corps have failed to see 1 major thing about Consumerism. That the EMPLOYEE must be able to afford the product.
When all your bills GO UP and your wages dont, Where do you cut first.

Its not about who works more. Its about what your labor is worth to others. Almost anyone can be a janitor. In fact, fire a Janitor, and you could have a replacement for that same janitor within hours. This means the skills needed to be a janitor are in abundant supply. The person who makes $100,000 on the other hand most likely has a skill (say an engineer) that is much shorter demand. Since not everyone can be an engineer, the engineers labor is worth much more to others than the Janitors.
Sure if the janitor walked out it would effect others more directly. But I can hire a new janitor to replace the one that walked out pretty quickly. Their is a much smaller pool of Engineers however, if the engineer walks out finding someone else to do the same job could be very difficult, not to mention the money I would lose retraining said engineer.
The same could be said for CEO’s that you hate so much. Their are not many people who have the qualifications, experience, or savvy to be the CEO of a large corporation. Since their is such a small pool they can pretty much write the terms to the companies that wish to hire them.
This is all basic economics in a supply and demand economy.
Not only that, unless you are a shareholder, why do you care what a CEO makes? Its really none of your business what a privately owned company pays the individuals who work for it.
I guess its no wonder that Envy is one of the deadly sins. Its such an ugly part of humanity.
