  1. What? says:

You spent the first ~10 minutes laughing at the idea of changing the tax laws, and for having people *donate* money to the US Treasury, and then you immediately ask for donations.

    Har har!

    • har har to you..taxes, as far as I know do not constitute a “donation” to anyone or anything They are taxes, plain and simple. You are allowed to pay more taxes if you want to.

  2. Glenn E. says:

When Obama speaks about us working together, I think he’s just pushing the propaganda message that all ivy league college politicos are parroting. That us common US folk should think of ourselves as the Working Collective. You know, that old Marxist bullcrap. The next president, will probably say something similar, regardless of party. It’s all part of phasing out the middle class. So there will just be the elites and the rest of us working to feed them.

  3. Glenn E. says:

Adam, “scampaign”? Never heard that one before. I’m adding it to my browser’s spell checker. I thought for awhile that you coined it. But checking the Urban Dictionary, I see it’s been around since Nov. 2004. Figures, it was inspired by the Bush years. Do you find most of your slang there? The “drone star state” isn’t found at urbandictionary.com. But for some weird reason this combination of terms calls up “Obama”. You might want to fix that!

    Those lips, whoa.

  5. Glenn E. says:

After hearing Adam call out Obama for one of the speeches he had made. I was all primed to listen for more crapola in the next speech I heard myself, on the news, when he calls the Republican’s tax cut for the wealthy, “social Darwinism”. Now I’m not 100% sure how Darwinism or perhaps Neo-Darwinism applies to tax cuts. But “Social”?! How the hell is this anything that’s SOCIAL?

It sounds like Obama is trying to make the idea of getting the rich a tax cut, a kind of cultural benefit. As if, because they eat classier food, and watch opera. The rich, getting a tax break, is a way of improving our culture. Because you wouldn’t want to cut taxes for people who simply watch Jersey Shore, or female mud-wrestling, right? I mean social Darwinism is probably responsible for all the fine arts. So what Obama said, sounded like a take-back. You should object to the tax break, for now. But maybe it’s not so bad in the long run? What the hell?!

It’s not any damn thing that’s SOCIAL. It’s Economic Darwinism. It’s “the survival of the wealthiest and greediest”, not the “survival of the culturally fittest”. That’s what the tax breaks, for the wealthy, are all about. Wealth begets more wealth. Like a black hole of greed. The increasing power of it’s influence, sucks in even more wealth. But it’s not SOCIAL. “Social Darwinism” would be people encouraging fine dinning and theater, in their neighborhoods, over drive-ins and cock fights.

Anyway. This really pisses me off now. It’s like it’s deliberate and calculated confusion. To be fair, I’ll have to assume Obama didn’t write this crap he’s reading. Someone else wrote this, and told him to read it. So he’s just a puppet for the A-holes who want us to think “social Darwinism, yeah, that’s what it is”. Even though it makes no damn sense. Having money or wealth, isn’t a social right or mandate. That’s 18th century thinking.

Are all ivy league politicians, and their speech writers, still taught to think this way? It’s like they’re saying the wealthy deserve to be wealthy, because they do better things with their wealth, that the rest of you slobs. So well cut them a break on paying their fair share of taxes. Kind of like the sweet deal the royals of England enjoy. So let’s have some royals here in the USA, as well. That way we won’t have to keep living vicariously thru the Brits, in awe of their centuries old economic relics.
