Why’s this a big deal? In the event of a significant natural disaster in which a mass of bodies are not identifiable, they need some way to dispose of them.
A giant ziplock bag seems to be a suitable design. – maybe the theft proof kind.
The patent says this is a cremation container.
Cremation would be the best method for disposing of bodies that have been contaminated in a biological attack or disease pandemic.
Does FEMA know something that we don’t?
There is nothing wrong with planning ahead, but I wonder what prompted them to patent cremation containers.
Very interesting. This should get the conspiracy theorists going.
Conspiracies about FEMA, the coffins, and the many FEMA camps that have popped up very recently have been around a bit already. They are preparing for something. Troops massing in odd places around the country. It’s about to start.
I would appreciate some links for this information.
Where are these FEMA camps located?
What troops are amassing in what parts of the country?
Who are “they” and what are “they” preparing for?
What is about to start?
You sound like Alex Jones. Give me some verifiable facts, not vague conspiracy theories.
Obama will declare a state of emergency if he doesn’t think he can be re-elected. The cremation coffins are for those who object to suspending the elections.
I think Teapublicans are expected to suicide en-masse when Obama gets reelected.
Today’s singing performance by Mitt Romney has already caused several deaths.
I agree, I almost got into an accident during the morning commute when his singing was broadcast on NPR.
Kurtzweil: “I think you know. The timetable has been set. It will happen on a holiday, when people are away from their homes. The president will declare a state of emergency, at which time all government, all federal agencies, will come under the power of the Federal Emergency Management Agency. FEMA, the secret government.”
Mulder: “And they call me paranoid.”
The invasion *was* supposed to happen this year…
Judging by their recent performance – if FEMA were in charge of a mass killing it would probably end up as a cure for cancer.
Don’t worry, the gov’t will take care of all your needs…cradle to grave.
BTW, I’ve always thought Tupperware missed the boat on the coffin making biz. Cheap, efficient, and a half-life of 500 years. Just don’t burp the container.
The FEMA cremation container for cadavers is made of non-polluting combustible byproducts.
Tupperware is made of plastic, which would pollute the atmosphere.
On the other hand, burning cadavers would pollute the atmosphere, so maybe it is a moot point.
Definitely moot for the occupant.
Perhaps this has something to do with the mysterious tank train movements show on the video yesterday ?
I think the FEMA conspiracists have already made the location of these containers well known.
The real story here is the Patent Office. They allowed a patent for … a box?
Why is the government patenting things? That doesn’t even make any sense.
Read the patent document …
The inventors are listed:
Raymond M. Von Braun;
Robert V. Milby;
Both of 906 W. Victoria Ave.,
#178, Montibello, Calif. 90640
The inventors live in an apartment, townhouse, or condo in Montibello, California.
The inventor(s) are not FEMA.
This is bogus.
Indeed, it must be bogus.
Nobody named Von Braun or Milby lives in Montebello. More like Hernandez or Lopez.
I wonder if Von Braun is any relationship to the late rocket scientist ?
I checked the address on Google street view.
It is an apartment complex.
I cannot read the sign, it is partially obscured by a telephone pole.
I think the sign says “Park Ventura Apartments.”
And meanwhile, you DID know, didn’t you – that you can get your casket from Walmart.com or Costco for as low as $949.99
AC
The used ones are much cheaper.
From the looks of those Wal Mart shoppers, those caskets must be pretty damn big.
The patent was issued June 20, 1995.
I cannot find anything in the document that connects this patent with the government or FEMA.
Does Uncle Dave know something we don’t?
Ask Alex Jones.
I found a company in British Columbia that is linked to one of the inventors:
Covtain International Inc.
P.O. Box 661,
V2S 6R7 Abbotsford
British Columbia
Fixed-line telephone: +1 604 8525125
Company description:
The Covtain International is a manufacturing company specializing in environmentally friendly cremation caskets. It was founded in 1986 by the current CEO Raymond von Braun.
Aiming to reduce gas-polluting emissions the company has developed a low cost container suitable for cremation and viewing. It is strong, lightweight and very functional casket made of composite materials. There are many more competitive advantages of Covtain coffins.
Maybe I should call him and see if he has a contract with FEMA.
The phone number @ Covtain International is a non-working number.
The web site for the company returns error 404; it does not exist.
So we have a patent with a trail that runs into a dead end.
If I were a conspiracy theorist, I would say this cremation coffin has gone underground and is now a top-secret project.
Or, it simply does not exist.
Made in China?
I’ll check on that.
There is a company in China that makes cardboard coffins.
They almost look like the real thing, and they are eco-friendly.
Maybe FEMA has a contract with them.
I found another listing. This guy moves around a lot …
Covtain International Inc
PO Box 1357
Sumas, Washington 98295
USA
Tel: (604) 852-5125
Industry: Consumer Services > Funeral Homes
Regional: USA > Washington
Covtain International – Environmentally safe cremation containers. ( http://www.covtain.com )
The web site is bogus.
Maybe I should call the phone number and see if there is a contract with FEMA. Be right back.
Wait a minute. The phone number is the same as the company in British Columbia.
Never mind.
I keep running into dead-ends on this patent.
I found a trademark listing:
On Friday, September 08, 1995, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for COVTAIN by Raymond M. Von Braun, Mesa AZ, 85205 .
The USPTO has given the COVTAIN trademark serial number of 74726676.
The current federal status of this trademark filing is ABANDONED-FAILURE TO RESPOND OR LATE RESPONSE.
The correspondent listed for COVTAIN is Raymond M. Von Braun of 3544 E. Southern Avenue #104, Box 163, Mesa, AZ 85205 .
The COVTAIN trademark is filed in the category of Furniture Products . The description provided to the USPTO for COVTAIN is business cards, letterhead and all stationary inherent to the conduct of the business on products produced by the covtain system.
This von Braun guy has been moving all over the place.
Now I find him in Arizona.
This is definitely a conspiracy of some kind.
I think I found the co-inventor, Robert Vernon Milby, in Montebello, CA.
He is 93 years old.
I cannot find any public records on Raymond M. von Braun in California.
These two guys live together in an apartment, so the telephone must be in Milby’s name.
I am tempted to pay for the phone records so I can call them and ask them if they have a contract with FEMA.
I found a listing for Raymond M. von Braun in Mesa, AZ.
He is 74 years old. His wife’s name is Veronique.
These guys are like spooks. They move from state to state.
First British Columbia, then Washington State, then Arizona, then California.
All of their businesses, trademarks, or web sites are defunct.
This must be a CIA or NSA plot.
Von Braun, Operation Paperclip, NASA…NAZI, Trains to camps….hmmmm. COINCIDENCE?
I’m going into the office tomorrow very near there. I will investigate and take photographs.
Looks like something made out of cardboard rather like the old style paper egg cartons. You can burn it with much less air pollution.
look’s stackable. besides the patent should have expired by now, 15 years later.
Utility Patents: Issued for the invention of a new and useful process, machine, manufacture, or composition of matter, or a new and useful improvement thereof, it generally permits its owner to exclude others from making, using, or selling the invention for a period of up to 20 years from the date of patent application filing, subject to the payment of maintenance fees.
Approximately 90% of the patent documents issued by the USPTO in recent years have been utility patents, also referred to as “patents for invention.”
United States Patent 5,425,163
is still listed with the USPTO, so I must assume the patent has not expired.
Where do expired patents go? The memory hole?
They become public domain and anyone can use them for whatever they want to.
I think they get buried in this contraption.
I ran across these many years ago…. aka cremation liners.
I found them on fedspending.org. lots of them have been purchased by govt agencies like DVA USDA DOD…. list goes on…
seen alot of videos on fema coffins but those are all “vaults”
if you notice the dome shaped tops on those videos..not the same container.
but there are vids of these containers out there. but they get google washed for some reason.
Orchid. You need a girlfriend.
Oh, BTW, just because it’s an apartment bldg now doesn’t mean it wasn’t office space 15 years ago…
I have a hot and sexy wife.
The trail ends at the apartment building.
Public records indicate the inventors still live there, although they may have died in the interim, since their last known ages were 74 and 93.
There is no indication that this patent is being used to manufacture the cremation containers by anyone.
The patent will expire in June of 2015.
Conan O’Brian – “The inventor of the CD died. Per his wishes, he was buried in a plastic case that is impossible to open.”
http://youtu.be/YK91qbw4ycY
They have millions, and millions, of them stockpiled all over the US. They will be used to bury people after they release the bio weapons they plan to use, to reduce the worlds population to 500 million.
See? I toldja so…
Unfortunately someone has to think about these kind of contingencies.
If the next Katrina or whatever hits US, the last thing FEMA needs to do is last minute shopping for coffins.
Note that the patent says “for cremation”, as that’s the safest way to prevent the spread of diseases.
Sad but necessary, hopefully not so for a long long time.
Seems to me, in a serious disaster, the necessary fuel for cremation would be best used for other purposes. Cremation on a mass scale would require huge amounts of energy.
They have millions, and millions, of them stockpiled all over the US. They will be used to bury people after they release the bio weapons they plan to use, to reduce the worlds population to 500 million.
Somehow I knew this would end up as a conspiracy theory.
So if “they” release a bio weapon to reduce the world’s population, there is nothing we can do to stop them.
And we are all going to die someday.
Personally, I don’t care if “they” reduce the world’s population since “they” are apparently in control of everything anyway.
Considering the track record of FEMA I find it entirely appropriate they now turn all their efforts to the coffin business. Because one thing is sure. If you need help from FEMA then you are dead anyways…
If you live in an area that is not vulnerable to natural disasters such as wildfires, flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis, then you have no worries except for giant asteroid strikes or nuclear and biological attacks from terrorists or the NWO.
Patents are usually handy if you want to sell something. As FEMA usually does nothing when disaster strikes, they probably sell them to the family left behind. Also explains why they do nothing. Von Braun is a german name also. Coincedence?
Just wondering now, does the same guy handle the patents of Monsanto also?
Btw, they forgot the wheels under the bin.
🙂
