It is a cute video, but did the event really merit an in-depth analysis with multiple interviews?

  2. claper says:

    Feel sorry for the lion

  3. Anonymous says:

About all I can say is “cute.” Got any videos of monkeys throwing their poop?! Thanks to G4 I’ve already seen a guy getting spit on up close by a lama today (see if you can’t find it too).

Seriously. Hasn’t anyone ever seen a house cat do this? If so then why should a lion be any different? Obviously, that lion also just wanted to play. Anyone notice that his claws were retracted? Besides, male lions don’t often “hunt” either – the female lions do.

Must be a slow news day when non-eventful crap like this gets attention.

Bitch, bitch, bitch. Here’s an idea, change the channel.

      BTW…..Donated lately?

Yep a lion is just like a house cat. Thats why everyone has one.

      Idiot.

    AND THIS IS NEWS!!!!!!!!!?????

  5. Zybch says:

Since when have any lions ever lived in jungles as the title suggests?

  6. briankb says:

    @Anonymous got it correct.

I’m torn on zoo’s but he looked to have a nice area to live and I think it does help to raise awareness for animals in general and help push people to donate money or voices to saving them.

    • deowll says:

Lions seem to be very easy animals to raise in zoos. He did seem to leave his claws retracted but then again I don’t think it would be advisable to be that close without a substantial barrier between it and the person.

One of the lesser known facts of paleontology is that a lot ancient human remains show evidence of having been dined on by a big cat to point I’d call it a normal cause of death.

Ancient Animals Played With Their Food New Research Shows

        Great headline.

      • Animby - Just Phoning It In says:

deowll “Lions seem to be very easy animals to raise in zoos.”
That’s because they are basically very lazy animals.

I would do well in a zoo.

  7. t0llyb0ng says:

Most viewers of the vid hope to see the lion smash through the glass & disarticulate the girl like a rag doll.

  8. Rider says:

Wow that not only made the news but someone reposted it here.

  9. observer says:

I really enjoyed those old SNL skits. “Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball…”

  10. ABO says:

Bite size snack. Sort of a “People Cracker”.

  11. ABO says:

Perhaps the father would prefer all the animals in zoos be sedated at all time, and act as if Walt Disney created them.

  12. ABO says:

That’s why the PLEXIGLASS is there!!!!

  13. abstain says:

It’s NOT cute. She’d better get some survival skills.

    • LibertyLover says:

That’s what I was thinking. Fear is what keeps you alive.

    • Cursor_ says:

Fear is neither good for you or a survival skill.

Fear is an illusion. And with all illusions only robs the mind of common sense. It is an uncontrollable emotion and leads to either panic, which is deadly or, when embraced, to hate.

To be prudent and have common sense to keep your distance or protect yourself from danger IS a survival skill. Fear only leads to tragedy, like running from one danger headlong into another.

Keep your wits, be smart, fear nothing; be the final arbiter in your life.

The Lion was aware that the plexiglass was there and that it would protect the child. He was just having some fun. It’s part of his nature. Ask any Lion expert.

I want that title on my business card and cubicle name plate.

That creeture is dangerous and it should be shot. Once they get a taste of blood they crave it. That is why I chose to be a vegetarian. VOTE 4 OBAMMA !!!!
