    SQUIRREL!!!

  2. Dallas says:

    But what does it mean!!

  3. bobbo, the evangelical anti-theist says:

Space–not always, or even often, the best view of things. Northern Lights best seen on the ground, or from 40K feet.

Small Blue Marble, what DO you mean?

  4. Faxon says:

    Film?

  5. Uncle Patso says:

So is it nitrogen or oxygen fluorescing that gives the characteristic green glow?

  6. geez says:

I hope that’s not over Japan.

  7. Animby says:

#6 Unc: Nitrogen and oxygen are both responsible for the auroras. Oxygen gives off predominately green photons while nitrogen photons are mostly blue. Both can give off reddish hues, too, depending on their ionic state and altitude. I don’t know all the physics but I looked it up after spending some time in the Orkney Islands and being amazed by the light show.

    #3 Bobbo: Concur.

is there a link to a better video of this… with better sound too!??

  9. bobbo, the evangelical anti-theist says:

Ha, Ha. Animby — thank you. I “sense” we have come to counterpoints in our liberal -v- conservative contretemps. Sad. I like and more uncommon RESPECT you. All the more reason I want to change what you think you think. You have lost your way.

I can see it, you don’t.

Ha, ha. Yes, no failing in my admiration of myself. Drunk too. How sad==drunk off my ass on 6 beers, and recognize Animby as an inferior human being BY HIS OWN STANDARDS. That happens when there is no mechanism to check ones own isolation.

Thailand? Physical Therapists? Cappuccinos? You can’t get more isolated than that.

I DO crack my self up.

    Yea, Hoomans!!!!!!!

I find no sweeter fat than that that sticks to my own bones.

    Yea, verily.

  10. hannibal says:

bobbo – go to bed. You are f*cking wasted.

  11. Animby says:

    #10 Bobbo:
    What Hannibal said…

  12. bobbo, the evangelical anti-theist says:

The reason not to drink too much on Wednesday Night is so that you can drink too much on Friday Night. What kind of weekend am I going to have now?

    Sober.

Thats a sobering thought. Rereading. I recall the saying that is mostly true, but not always true, that “People don’t lie when they’re drunk.”

Ha, ha. Excessive often in many different ways, and maybe not accurate in what they say==but not lying.

Indeed, can’t we all always be more true to our better natures? I think so.

    Yea, verily.
