I think the demonstration shows the jet pack is quite robust in its performance==lifted the guy right out of the water. Of all the packs I have seen, this one makes the most sense. No death on temporary power failure. A nice toy for the water.

In 1954 Walter Cronkite did a morning show on CBS in which he talked with a puppet lion about the news.
The old guard news people have one advantage over the current crop of folks. There was no videotape to record their less than stellar moments on the air. Kinescope filming was around but once you had truckloads of film, reclaiming the silver in the stock became worthwhile.
