  1. bobbo, the pragmatic libertarian Existentialist says:

    Yeah–but really, what is worse?

A Party that doesn’t even mention a subject and does not deliver on it, or

Obama who runs on hope and change to those very programs mentioned, and then does not deliver on it?

Still, whats playing out in Wisconsin and other newly installed Republican Governance is a real eye opener. WAY to much like Hitler winning a Democratic Election and then taking the society in ways that were not ever run on.

    Really—–“dishonest.” Know what I mean?

If the Pukes would actually run their campaigns on doing away with collective bargaining, then I wouldn’t like it, but I’d say damn the electorate. Don’t get that with the Brown Shirts.

  2. Ah_Yea says:

    Here’s the REAL news!

Lawmakers sue President Obama over Libya.

“A bipartisan group of House members announced on Wednesday that it is filing a lawsuit charging that President Obama made an illegal end-run around Congress when he approved U.S military action against Libya. With regard to the war in Libya, we believe that the law was violated. We have asked the courts to move to protect the American people from the results of these illegal policies,” said Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), who led the 10-member anti-war coalition.

Yes, the most corrupt and dictatorial President in US history.

  3. Dallas says:

Doesn’t matter. It was a late spring beauty pageant for the ultra right loons. The rest never knew about the pageant nor cared.

The oldies but goodies are still safe such as gay marriage, gay rights, DADT, DOMA and of course… abortion!

The real issues? They know someone is recording their dance.

  4. GregAllen says:

Anyone who uses the pejorative “Obamacare” is not a serious person.

  5. GregAllen says:

    >> Yes, the most corrupt and dictatorial President in US history.

You need to read a book, dude. Seriously.

I suggest you start by researching how many presidents have used military force without formally declaring war.

  6. Marsh says:

Because that makes it all better, right dude?

    moron.

  7. bobbo, the pragmatic libertarian Existentialist says:

#5–Greg==or even better: any variation of Obama Care such as “ObamNey Care” and then not have the balls to repeat it.

And that total loser is the more desired by the disconnected Teaparty faction. Oh wait–that would be Bachman since she announced.

    Ha, ha.

  8. Breetai says:

    Paul/Sanders 2012

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit.

  9. hey U kids off my lawn says:

if these debaters new an embryo was going to be born gay and then have the nerve to want to be loved in a committed relationship with equal rights to straights and worst yet not want to be discriminated against would they then go for an abortion of said embryo or just insist it be born so they could dump on it later?

  10. Ah_Yea says:

Hey GregAllen, what if I said “ONE OF the MOST CORRUPT and DICTATORIAL Presidencies in history”.

Would that make you feel better!

(Hey Greg, while you’re at it, show me ANY OTHER PRESIDENT where THEIR OWN PARTY had to sue to force him to obey the law? No? Well, maybe this IS the MOST CORRUPT and DICTATORIAL President in history!)

  11. tcc3 says:

Hey look, its one of those unflattering-towards-the-left posts that TeaDud says never happen here.

  12. SysFin says:

Is this supposed to slam the left or right?

It shows the liberals propaganda is boring but it still bashes republicans by depicting them as out of touch.

This isn’t even interesting propaganda just the same old crap. I don’t come to this blog for the same old crap.

    Why is it here?
What does it represent that I can’t get from the mainstream media?

  13. a real american says:

If they are stupid enough to allow someone from CNN to moderate and pick the topics, then they deserve to have adds like this made.

A proper moderator for a GOP debate would ask questions like “What do you think President Obama has screwed up the most and how would you fix it?”

I would at least expect to see someone reply to one of these questions with “That was a stupid question, so I’m just going to tell you about my energy policy.”

  14. tcc3 says:

    #16 TeaDud

By that definition, the Tea Party and the Founding fathers are also “Mobs”

“The twisting of truth, stirring of passions, demonizing of opponents, and relying on propagandistic images in lieu of ideas — these are the earmarks of a mob leader.”

And apparently Ann Coulter is a mob leader.

  15. Derek says:

Bush got Congress approval over the war in the middle east, and they wanted to crucify him. Obama gets no congress approval for Libya, and they defend him. They attack Bush over the patriot act, yet they defend Obama for supporting it further. They attack Bush over Guantanamo, yet they give Obama a pass for keeping it going. Dems are just as bad as repubs. Both care more about their politic than they care about the country.

If you want to be taken seriously, have at least a little tiny bit of consistency.

  16. denacron says:

  17. foobar says:

When I said “please stop with the Apple stories” I didn’t mean replace it with 2.5 years of partisan bullshit.

Nice post alfie, you’ve learned how to copy and paste. This interweb thingie has a concept called “links”. It even works in IE6. Well sort of.

  18. hey U kids off my lawn says:

“Bush got Congress approval over the war in the middle east, and they wanted to crucify him”

could that have been for the lies and deception used on Congress and the american people to gain that approval?

  19. foobar says:

alfie, you linked the blaze? Well it’s a start. Now trying linking to a more credible news source like gawker.

  20. hey U kids off my lawn says:

sadly yes, or if they didn’t they voted the way they though their sheep constituents wanted them to.

you would think a country with a population of over 300 million
could find 435 people honest/not creepy/not corruptible/not snidey/thinking people to represent them but i guess not

  21. Ah_Yea says:

    denacron, that was perfect!

    Explains Bobbo, foobar, and Dallas…

  22. Ah_Yea says:

Well, I have to take that back.

Mind control, or a total frontal lobotomy, explains Bobbo, foobar, and Dallas…

  23. foobar says:

Ah_yea, did I hurt your feelings? Someone give him a hug.

  24. Ah_Yea says:

Just doing you a favor. Sometimes the mentally ill need recognition.

  25. tcc3 says:

    #27 TeaDud

You made that same specious claim last year. I provided you several examples of right wing violence.

As for your mob, I see its only when you disagree with the group that it gets a bad connotation label.

  26. Cursor_ says:

And does anyone care what one group of fat cats say about another?

Like listening to children taunt one another.

    Cursor_

  27. LotsaLuck says:

    A boring and misleading ad.

Did the candidates choose the topics or questions?

Now, what WOULD be interesting is if the candidates were allowed to ask EACH OTHER questions – no moderator (just a timekeeper, who would shut off the power to the microphone when time was up). This would be really interesting when you get to the R vs. D debate. Romney (or whoever) directly questioning Obama, and vice versa. That would be cool.

The current ‘debate’ format leads to boring pontification from all parties involved. Both the D’s and the R’s. Lousy TV and a lousy way to pick a president.

  28. foobar says:

Guyver, seriously. Read Gawker. It’s a riot. And one of Rush Limbaugh’s favourite sites for good reason.

  29. Ah_Yea says:

foobar, why do I think you are mentally ill?

    It’s very simple.

    A) You believe Obama is doing a good job. This proves that you do not have a firm grasp on reality.

    B) You are a liberal. This proves you have an inexhaustible capability for self-deception.

  30. foobar says:

Ah_yea, bobbo’s view of me is that I think Obama is doing a crappy job and I’m a repuke conservative.

You guys are just brothers with a different mother.
