I wish Adam would stop talking over the clips. Repeating words people say in the middle of the clip. Maybe he could listen to the whole thing before mocking it. Also to many damn jingles. I loathe the squirrel clip. I wish the show could get closer to the conversation it started as. I still enjoy the show though and I do appreciate all the work the hosts do each week for the show. Thank you NA.

  2. My Agenda says:

#1 I agree. The Family Guy-morning Zoo parody format is funny and it mocks the format itself but sometimes it’s a bit much. The early shows were really engaging and as much as I miss the days when the show occurred on the West Coast and Surrey, England, it’s grown into something different. The “Douchebag” hook has taken time to get used to.

Back in the day, it was unscripted with John complaining about the notes he lost (which were written on the side of a cardboard box). Ever since Curry’s divorce, the show has changed big time but the show goes on to new things.

    Wonderful art work!

  4. Rasputin says:

I agree, It started as great back and forth, but now it feels like the Adam Curry Show with guest John C Dvorak, where Adam sounds like Alex Jones (military industrial complex, Chem Trails, Buy Gold) and bangs the jingle buttons like a brain damaged test monkey.

Also let John play a clip or two without AC blabbing over it because he doesnt like the clip.

If its the same next week I might stick with X3 and Dvorak and Horowitz to get my JCD fix.

  5. #4 cripes if you have specific complaints send them to the target either me john@dvorak.org or adam@curry.com since you are in a useless echo chamber commenting on a blog post.

Personally I do not think the jingles are over done and actually would like a few more ITM’s along the way. I think we’ve cut back on them to be honest. The last show had technical issues too which made the banter difficult.

Thanks for listening to all the shows.

    John,
If not for the No Agenda podcast, which I look forward to every week, I would not be at all interested in the news of the world.

In the news van, I don’t turn on the AM or FM bands, it’s just the ZUNE playing NA or The Horowitz conversation. When I finish them, I listen to some other podcast, but never until I run out of NA episodes.

Regarding the above complaints, I appreciate that everybody has an opinion, buy nobody else is doing what you and Adam do. I also know how much time and effort Adam puts into the show, so he can do whatever he likes.

If only the real media was slightly as perceptive as you guys.
I’ll be sending a donation this week. And hope Adam does not get in trouble with the RV.

I listened to the archived shows a couple of years ago, and have not missed one. I think they keep improving.
