    I’ve noticed with distaste the number of stories about “the difficult decisions to flood 1000’s of innocent home owners…..” Seems to me THAT decision was made right after 1927 when the Moregonzoes Spillway was designed for that very pupose function and use and individuals had the option for real cheap land in the floodway. What the decision again exactly?

    Heard Harry Scheer give the very best answer to why the USA taxpayer should rebuild New Orleans, a city below sea level: “All port cities are at or below sea level.” Nice dodge I thought. Clever even.
