Capitalism may be to blame for the lack of life on the planet Mars, Venezuela’s socialist President Hugo Chavez said on Tuesday.
“I have always said, heard, that it would not be strange that there had been civilization on Mars, but maybe capitalism arrived there, imperialism arrived and finished off the planet,” Chavez said in speech to mark World Water Day.

no Hugo, it was the Commies that killed Mars. They controlled everything there….. after all it IS called the RED PLANET
Yea. Some capitalist went to mars, took all the water, and sold it to naive rich folk in Evian bottles.
Maybe we need to send Chavez to Mars so that he can bring his beloved communism to the Red Planet.
We could send Al Gore with him to correct the ravages of global warming at the same time.
Sounds legit.
Capitalism, imperialism, environmentalism, sexism, fascism, Nazism, McCarthyism, Nixonism. Take your pick-ism, Hugo. They’re all good, and interchangeable-ism. And apparently, Hugo is rather clueless-ism, about which works best. So why not just make up a completely new “ism”? And refuse to explain it. Just say, “It’s the Ism they don’t want you to know about.”
Good…I hated that TV show anyway.
He’s got a point.
I guess Hugo couldn’t stand seeing Sheen and Ghaddfi getting all the crazy ranting attention and had to jump in and show he is just as nuts as them.
Though I still say Gary Busey has them all beat.

WTF? is this man smoking and where can I get some 😛
Why are all the nuts sitting on top of all the oil? We wouldn’t have put up with that 100 years ago.
This nuttball is Venezuela’s version of Sarah Palin that actually got elected.
Let this be a warning.
And it WILL KILL LIFE ON EARTH TOO !!!
And Humans are supposed to be “Intelligent Creatures” !!!
Dallas, no he’s the Venezuelan Obama. They got along quite well at their first meeting, with Chavez even giving him a book to read.
