If I were a suspicious person, I would think someone at Fox doesn’t like him.

  1. howard beal says:

I’m shocked SHOCKED! that Fox News would misrepresent something

  2. wtfover says:

Faux news. Do you expect anything else?

  3. Roasted Peanuts says:

Ron Paul: Real change we can believe in.

  4. theBadSteveO says:

    Fox News:
    We Report, You Decide
    and
    Fair and Balanced

If they didn’t keep reminding us how fair and neutral they are we’d soon forget it….

  5. Buzz Mega says:

Fox News is to Truth as Adolf Hitler is to

    A: Sweetness
    B: Warmth and Fuzziness
    C: Great Art
    D: Nobel Peace Prize

  6. Dallas says:

    Quite the racket.
A lying, propaganda machine disguised as journalism.

Where is the Justice Dept investigating conspiracy and fraud?

  7. tcc3 says:

Wasn’t Alfred saying the other day that journalists who lie and misrepresent should be rounded up?

Is it only permissible if the lies also suit *your* adgenda?

  8. rwest says:

Maybe I’m missing something but this appears to be two videos of two different announcements.

On the Fox News video the anouncer says “The winner of the CPAC Straw Poll”

However, on the second video the anouncer says “The winner of the straw poll”

This is simply two different events.

  9. Animby - just phoning it in says:

I did not see the program. What I know is that this video was produced and posted by Alex Jones’s group so it is immediately suspect.

  10. mysticgeek says:

This isn’t surprising at all. Faux likes Dr. Paul when he is talking about the economy during non-election cycles, then they discredit him at every turn, just like last year.

  11. sargasso_c says:

    The Right’s Nader.

  12. sho time says:

Big Suprise, the common man is put forth. He is not fake or cosmetic like Palin and Romney.

He will allow you to drink better than 3.2 beer. Romney and Beck believe those who drink are going to Hell. Read the Mormon Words of Wisdom.

If you get Sarah (retard) or the Mormons plan on 3.2 beer, everything closed on Sundays.

Islamics are more tolerant than any Mormon Real or fake. Romney (real) Beck (Fake) He changed Religions for pussy. That’s a fake in any man’s book.

Vote Beck’s guy or guys plan on no NFL on Sunday its a sin.

    Out

  13. dittmv says:

Sometimes one has to wonder if Fox has meetings to discuss their screw-ups as if it is a business strategy to pump up viewership or if Fox’s screw-ups occur at the same rate as MSNBC’s screw-ups but Fox gets disproportionate coverage because many on the left regard Fox as Persona non grata and need continuous validation to justify this treatment.

So… if one follows the No Agenda line that Fox is run by the Democrats…

A Ron Paul vs Obama policy debate is probably one of the things the Democratic brass fear the most. Most of the time these debates tend to be about who can run the government better rather than why does government need to encroach on a given space.

Most of the other leading or upcoming Republican voices like Rep Ryan (Wi) or Bachmann (Mn) or Boehner (Oh) that I hear tend to default back to the same statist impulses.

A Paul v Obama debate would not be two sides of the Janus coin and could actually be a door way to a new beginning and would give Fox good reason to alter reality.

  14. It may of been an oversight – a mistake
What all of the fantasy photos in Egypt of a fake mass democracy movement sans burkas
    aka George Soros

  15. Rick says:

Using file footage is regular part and parcel at Fox Jazeera.

Even Hannity got caught faking footage when they were trying to discredit the liberal marches on washington by using tape shot weeks BEFORE the actual rally, hoping nobody would notice the weather was different.

  16. TThor says:

The Kabal does what the Kabal does best – distort reality.
Goebbels taught them how to do that; repeat the lie until it becomes the truth.

  17. Animal Mother says:

Fox News is to Truth as Adolf Hitler is to

    A: Sweetness
    B: Warmth and Fuzziness
    C: Great Art
    D: Nobel Peace Prize

    I like…

  18. Cursor_ says:

It doesn’t matter one way or the other.

Ron Paul has zero chance of being president.

He is the modern version of Debs.

    Cursor_

  19. soundwash says:

    voila!

a perfect campaign to make the lemmings think the other three major networks are pillars of integrity..

  20. Sarah Palin, Miss South Carolina says:

Hi. Thought I share my insight on the stuff in Egyptian continent..

“And nobody yet has, nobody yet has explained to the American public what they know, and surely they know more than the rest of us know who it is who will be taking the place of Mubarak and no, not, not real enthused about what it is that that’s being done on a national level and from DC in regards to understanding all the situation there in Egypt. And, in these areas that are so volatile right now, because obviously it’s not just Egypt but the other countries too where we are seeing uprisings, we know that now more than ever, we need strength and sound mind there in the White House. We need to know what it is that America stands for so we know who it is that America will stand with. And, we do not have all that information yet.”

  21. Likes2LOL says:

You’d think it’d be a breach of FCC regulations to knowingly deceive the public, but FOX has already proven in court its right to do so:

“In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States.”
    http://relfe.com/media_can_legally_lie.html

Unfortunately, Diebold might not feel a moral duty to provide fair and balanced voting results, either.

  22. Olo Baggins of Bywater says:

If true, this is the third time they have been caught that I am aware of in the last two years. Seems like Fox has simply given up pretending to be a legitimate news organization.

Alfred spoketh: they have old footage they always use for events, every channel does…to save money.

Real news networks use a graphic titled “File Footage” to denote old video. And, such video is rarely (never) used to imply crowds or extra emotion that didn’t exist at the actual event. That would be lying, and and it’s rare-to-nonexistent with real journalists and news agencies.

This is simply another Fox News example for the journalism schools in how to deceive your audience. I hope Fox fans are paying attention, this is a canary in the mine.

  23. botamish says:

Not that I’m defending Fox, but these videos are from two different events. You can bash Fox if you want, but find real evidence before you jump on a bandwagon based on an incorrect video.

  24. Guyver says:

Has any of the other networks ratted Fox out other than a blogger?

  25. Olo Baggins of Bywater says:

Alfred, links at your link show even more “mistakes” by Fox. And as the commentary there goes…funny how those mistakes always seem to fall directly into the Fox narrative.

The evidence is clear. At what point does the real media decide to call them out?

  26. The Monster's Lawyer says:

Alfie, you are one delusional idiot. Pull your head out of Glenn Becks ass and smell the coffee.

  27. tcc3 says:

He gave up coffee, its a leftist plot.

  28. KiltedTim says:

And to think, there are people who believe we don’t need to bring back the fairness doctrine.

  29. Mr, Ed - the Imitation (accept no original) says:

Coffee? well, Alphie would just think it is more of the brown stuff he is so used to.

    mmmmmmmmm, good brown stuff
