This is from a fascinating document created by the Brunswick, Maine police department. It’s a 5.5 meg PDF that you can download here.

Warning, don’t try these at home. These are the ones that got their makers caught.

Meh… The usual hiding place is up your ass.

I’d be a lot more impressed if somebody was caught with a Bowie knife up there.

  3. UncDon says:

Actually, someone posted that in a GSC chatroom.

    http://getgsc.com/

In case you don’t know what GSC is.

  4. Somebody says:

“A Compendium of Criminal’s Creative Homemade Weapons, Hiding Places, etc.”

    Should have been:

“A Complete Compendium of Criminal’s Creative Crafted Cannon, Catapults, Cleavers, Clubs, Crossbows, Cudgels, Cutlasses, etc.”

Any cop should know what an AR7 is. The intended use is a compact and water proof .22 rim fire rifle to hunt small game, kill snakes, etc. That fishermen, backpackers, bush pilots and anybody wanting to put together a survival kit or bug out bag might have one is a given.I see no reason to freak out if somebody has one stowed away.

With careful use a ceramic knife is a wonder in the kitchen. They don’t stain, tarnish, or rust and they hold an edge like nothing else but the blades are very brittle. It is very easy to chip or break one. I definitely would not want to depend upon one as a weapon.

  6. smileyouron says:

I like the way they include hidden cameras. The
most dangerous weapon if , and only if ,your a crooked
    cop.

And I can tell the difference between the suicide and
exercise vests. The exercise vest is worn by a nice
looking black guy in New Jersey. And the bomb vest
is worn by an arab in some god-awful 3rd world country
with foreign writing on the walls!

  7. Benjamin says:

A lot of this stuff is not illegal. Others, they would have to seriously damage someone’s vehicle to even find some of the things.

Best bet is never give consent to a search.

  8. msbpodcast says:

Benjamin in #8 said: “never give consent to a search

What a nice, civilized and pretty thought.

You’ve never been to juvie hall, or to jail…

The concept of consent an admirable fiction outside, but inside…

What makes you think they’re going to ask for your consent?

You’re meat, not a human being.

I have been to juvie hall.

It neither nice, civilized or pretty.

The ones who treat you worse are your fellow inmates.

Another liberal ideal runs smack/ into a wall called reality.

sheesh. some of those things are probably more dangerous to the user than the target.
