I’ve done that when there was something wrong WITH the internet, like my ISP acting up and i have to stay on the phone waiting for customer service to pick up so i can tell them, hey there’s something wrong with my internet. Adam can sympathize.

Great comment Personne. In your need to correct someone with a comment not only did you prove your case but you displayed the action we are mocking and further removed the actual deficiency of the post with your links. So the post is bad but once you point out the post is bad with the supplied links the post is good, 2points for proving and negating your argument with said proof.

The last time Marc posted an uncredited picture from xkcd (a week or two ago) he got alot of critical responses. Makes me think he could be goading people into complaining. Oops, have I fallen into the trap as-well? or maybe I’m reading to much into this. Either way Personne is right – neglecting attribution is cheap and breaking xkcd’s copyright.
So when did the thanks XKCD link appear with the graphic?
Correcting people who aren’t smart enough to agree with me before I express my views is a weakness of mine.
I must admit however that there are occasions when it just isn’t worth the effort and I leave them to live in darkness.
